Chapter 6

Third person POV
~ Time skip to a few minutes later brought to you by Alec's thicc eyeliner~
Alec had accidentally fallen asleep in the middle of a conversation which caused his head to fall into his shoulder. Jax couldn't hold back a small smile at the peaceful sight of the normally angry boy.
He just seemed so at peace sleeping on his shoulder while his quiet breathing could be heard. Jax soon fell asleep just to the rhythm of his breathing, resting his head on top of his.
A while later Jax had woken up and started to stretch when he felt movement beside him. He then realize what it was, Alec had snuggled more in to him holding onto him. Jax felt this unfamiliar heat on his face and was slightly confused but he likes to see Alec in this calm state.
He hesitates a few minutes before wrapping his arms around the sleeping male so that he could cuddle and hold onto the moment for as long as possible.
Alec's POV
I woke up and couldn't help but blush at what I saw. "Mm." The half asleep Jax in front of me seemed so out of place in my dark colored room. But it was a good out of place... Like a rose in a thorn bush.
My face was burning and probably a bright red but even I can't deny that I like the feeling of being wrapped up in his arms. I even moved so that I could hear his heartbeat.
I really don't want to move anytime soon but I hear my door open and I don't want anyone to see him any different because of me so I jerk away from him. I see Jax wake up from me pulling away as Erin entered my room. "Hmm?" "Jax? What're you doing in here?"
I started to say something but I went quiet so that I didn't say anything I'd regret. "I was talking with Alec." "For 5 hours?" I was scared I was gonna be yelled at so I stayed silent and just listened. "Well we did fall asleep-" "Then you need to come and go to bed." I pulled out and lit a cigarette so that maybe I could calm my growing anxiety about what was gonna happen next. I just wanted to disappear so I tried to say as silent as j could. "I will in a bit. I want to talk to Alec a little more." "Jax-" "Bye." I have to admit, I was surprised but also proud cause I've never seen Jax speak to Erin with such an attitude like that. I blew smoke into the air and looked at Erin to see what she was gonna do. "... Fine. Have fun."  I watched as she left and shut the door behind her. Jax had turned to look at me. "Sorry about that." "It's fine." I didn't want to move other than leaning my head against the wall cause I'm not sure if it's ok to lean against him. "... Um... Do you want to... Ya know... Cuddle again...?" He looked away with a nervous expression. I let out a sigh of smoke and reached over his lap to put my cigerette out in the Ash tray. "Yeah. Sure." I didn't hold back from snaking my arms around his waist and snuggling into him. I felt him give into the cuddles after a little bit. "... This is nice..." "Yeah... This is..." I love feeling his arms around me. I feel safe for once... Even though I'd more than likely be the one protecting him. I really don't want to let him go... But I could feel my face start to go red again so I hid my face in his chest. I heard his small laugh that I love so much. " Ya know, you're kinda cute." I snapped my neck to look up at him and could feel my face burning red at the statement. "Wh-what?" Oh god... Why'd I have to stutter? It only gets worst when he gave me that smile. His voice even makes me melt inside... "I said you're pretty cute."
Is this a compliment? What do I do? I think I'm supposed to thank him... "U-Um... Thanks?" "Sorry, was that weird?" "Not really, I guess I'm just not used to compliments." "Then you need more. There's so much I could compliment you on." Why is he lying to me? What's his goal behind this? "The only liar I tolerate is Bailey." "I mean it. "
