Another year has passed and Ella's body started shaping itself. The perfect strawberry blond locks falling down her shoulders to her upper back, an hourglass shaped body, nice developing boobs and ass, green eyes sparking with live and... a scar on her neck. The scar was what was left from that night a year ago. Neither girls have seen each other since that night since the kings found out and wanted to kill Jane for what she did. Thankfully Ella prevented that from happening.

Apparently, Ella has a gift. She is immune to the poison that creates vampires and on top of that her blood is misleading. The scent is mouthwatering but the taste to most vampires is disgusting. Which is amusing to Ella. Jane didn't seem to mind the taste but every other vampire that tasted her blood after that seemed to hate it. Even the kings hated it.

At the moment the young girl was sitting on a bench in the garden she was found in all those years ago. It was her favorite place to spend time. The sky was thickly clouded, signaling the girl that it would start raining soon. She didn't care though. Demetri would get her out of here before she would get sick and she wanted to spend as much time in the fresh air as possible.

Her headphones sat over her ears as she was softly humming to a song. She would sing along if it wasn't for the fact that she hasn't spoken a word all these years and she wasn't planning on starting now. Her way of training her throat was by humming notes to a song and just hoping it sounded okay. Since her rebirth she noticed how her limp was gone so she figured her throat issues were gone as well.

She was so absorbed into the song that she didn't notice a figure standing behind her until a hand was placed on her shoulder. She yelped softly and yanked the headset from her head. Her eyes wide as she turned around to stare at the mystery person. Though she quickly relaxed when she noticed it was Alec.

"Mind if I join you?" She shook her head but her face was soaked in confusion. He sat down and stared at the flowers in front of them. In his fingers was a white rose. Green orbs filled with curiosity met white as she studied the rose. "Here..." He held it out to her and she took it in her hands. The subtle scent of the rose filled her senses as she lifted it to her face. Her cheeks a soft pink from the cold air. She simply looked beautiful to the vampire.

"My sister and I are getting a promotion. We will be in the throne room every day from now on. Does that mean that we will see you more often?" His eyes are still locked on the flowers yet she only nodded her head. "May I... feel your heartbeat again?" He slowly turned his head to face her and he could hear her heartbeat go a little faster. Her face became a little redder as her blood flushed her cheeks even more.

Yet she nodded her head once again as she slowly grabbed his hand and guided it to her chest, making it cover her heart. His cold hand touching the skin that wasn't covered by her dress. It made her shiver as she softly bit her pink, plump lips. "Why is it beating so hard? Do I... scare you?" He sounded unsure of himself yet he didn't remove his cold fingers from her hot skin. The beating of her heart vibrating through his hand.

She shook her head and grabbed his hand that covered her heart and intertwined their fingers. Her thumb rubbing the top of his hand. She smiled softly at him and pulled him down so his head was laying on her lap, his ear against her stomach. Both of them relaxed as she started humming again. Their intertwined hands resting on his stomach.

She was playing around with the rose in her other hand until she pricked her finger on a thorn. A soft hiss left her lips as she looked at the drop of blood on her finger.

Alec tensed his whole body and his eyes flashed black the moment he smelled her blood. It was intoxicating. The red liquid was calling out to him. He wanted to taste it. Jane told him of the heavenly taste the strawberry blond carried in her small body and he needed to know. Was it really that good?

Without thinking he grabbed her wrist and put her finger in his mouth. It was so sweet and heavenly. He never tasted anything like this. Not even his blood singer was this sweet. He wanted... no... he needed more.

His tongue moved around her finger and a soft sound made him look up at those wide green eyes. Her cheeks as red as tomatoes and her lips slightly parted. She looked so embarrassed so he took her finger out of his mouth. "Sorry... I shouldn't have done that." If his undead body would allow him to blush, he would have.

Another drop of blood formed on her finger and his eyes glanced at the red liquid before meeting her green orbs once again. It was hard but he released her wrist so she could pull away from him. Instead of doing just that she moved her finger to his mouth and smiled softly at him. Wanting to question her actions he opened his mouth but before a word could leave his mouth the finger was on his tongue, gracing him once again with the heavenly taste of her blood. Just a little bit was enough.

The real question was: How will he stay away from her now that he had a taste?
