NotEmiliaBottas: Charles deserves this win, it comes on a weekend where we all wish there would be no more racing at all. But he deserves this. His dedication of the win to Anthoine was inspiring and a moment we all needed to see, to know that we're all united in our grief and our loss. We pulled through heavy moments like this so many times before, unfortunately we have to do it again but I know we can. None of us are suffering alone in this, there's a whole community, not just F1, F2 and F3 but a whole wider band of people. I keep thinking that I might be coming to terms with it all, trying to finally make sense of my emotions but then I suddenly lose this sense and the tears flow once again. This has been the toughest weekend of my, I'd say short life, but this weekend itself has proven that I have to live it to it's fullest.
Anthoine deserved so much more and I'm sure he's proud of Charles. We all are, Anthoine, his dad and Jules. Charles has pushed through so much to get to where he is and I'm glad it's finally working for him.
But as Ayrton Senna said 'when god wants something no one can stop him.' Will Buxton summed it up perfectly, the dice rolled and Anthoine's number showed up.
This is a weekend we all want to move on from and slowly but surely we will. But in this time we should grieve.
