19-12-19

I snuggled into Lando as his alarm rang. I felt him wriggle underneath my arm.

"Emilia come on, we have to meet Flo," he whispered into my ear as we cuddled. I shook my head, I was excited to meet his sister but the bed was warm and outside is cold.

"I'll get you a hot chocolate on the way there," he spoke softly, his hand sliding up my bare leg.

"Hmm maybe," I groaned sleepily, "you'll have to try a little harder to convince me."

Suddenly I was out of bed in his arms, clinging onto him for dear life. Lando's arms were wrapped comfortably around me. He leaned in to give me a peck on the nose, refusing to put me down.

"That's not convincing me!" I squealed.

"Well you're out of bed now," he laughed.

"You're a horrible person," I mumbled, still in his arms.

"Yeah, yeah. Sure I am," he laughed as I sulked, snuggling closer to him because as I pointed out earlier it's freezing fucking cold.

I got out of his arms, throwing on one of his jumpers over my t-shirt and shorts. Before grumpily sulking out of the room to make myself food. Lando was going to be making his own breakfast after that little stunt.

So I began making an omelette the moment I got to the kitchen. Pulling out an assortment of useless pots and pans.

A couple minutes into my cooking I heard Lando padding down the stairs.

"You're making your own breakfast this morning," I shouted to him.

"Ok fine!" He laughed at me.

I felt him pass behind me, his hand brushing against my waist softly. I felt goose bumps rise over my skin as he did that.

He came back moments later to wrap an arm around my waist from behind and press soft kisses on my shoulder. His lips rose a little bit to pepper kisses all over my neck and then a final one on my jaw.

"I'm still not making you food," I stated matter of factly.

"I'm just giving you affection," he laughed.

I giggled as well, turning around to peck him on the lips.

I was still reluctant to get ready after breakfast but then Lando told me we were meeting Flo at her stables and then I was excited. Maybe she'd let me ride her horse.

As we climbed in the car I reminded him about the fact he had to buy me hot chocolate.

"I thought you said that didn't convince you," Lando said, raising his eyebrow.

"Doesn't matter, after how you woke me up this morning you can do something nice," I sulked.

He laughed, placing his hand on my knee as he drove.

We did in fact stop for hot chocolate, he ended up getting himself one too and a cheeky croissant for us to share.

When we arrived at the yard I couldn't help but marvel at the size of it. My yard at home in Ireland was tiny compared to it.

"Lando!" I heard an English accent call.

"Hey Flo," Lando greeted as his sister jumped into his arms. They hadn't seen each other in a while as Lando had been so busy. He'd hardly seen me as well, one of the negatives of being a racing driver.

I smiled at Flo as she pulled away from Lando.

"Hi, how are you?" I asked.

"Hi Emilia, it is so great to meet you!" Flo greeted, giving me an equally tight hug.
