Early in the morning training had begun and everyone was out on the training grounds. All of the cadets were currently sparing. Ymir sparred with Krista and Connie and Sasha sparred together but they mostly goofed off as usual. So did other cadets. They didn't seem to be taking the sparring seriously. Kira sparred with Mikasa but wasn't actually giving it all she got. She was lost in her own thoughts as usual but her daydreaming was beginning to get out of hand as it was becoming a frequent habit. Mikasa snapped her fingers in her face, trying to get her out of her daydream.
"Kira? What's the matter? You've been zoning out all morning. And more than usual." Mikasa inquired. She softly tilted her head at her. She softly jabbed her stomach with the wooden knife that they had been using during their sparring.
Kira blinked her eyes as she tried to get out of her thoughts and looked at her. "Nothing, I'm fine. Just thinking about my dream I had last night. That's all." She explained and smiled reassuringly at her.
Before Mikasa had a chance to ask what the dream was about she looked over as she heard Reiner and Eren talking about Annie. Basically talking smack about her. She looked at Eren, seeing him tense up a bit as Annie began to walk towards him and Reiner. Kira looked over before blinking her eyes as she saw Annie get into her stance, prepared to fight Eren. She softly grunted as Eren was thrown to the ground. "Well shit." She muttered, shaking her head. She crossed her arms over her chest. "Eren never knows when to stop looking for fights does he?" She said.
She looked over at Mikasa before blinking as she didn't say a word, remaining silent. She furrowed her eyebrows in confusion and tilted her head at her. She followed her gaze which landed onto Annie. Kira watched Annie before freezing, never really having paid attention to her at first. Annie had always, to Kira, been a side character. She never really contributed to their conversations during lunch and dinner and she always had stayed by herself but seeing her now, made Kira freeze for some odd reason.
Her surroundings began to darken, black matter spreading onto the ground and the only one now visible to her was Annie. Kira's heart began to beat rapidly as she felt the blood rushing to her ears. Her ears began to pound and a lump formed in her throat as she began to struggle to breath. She could also hear the pulsing of Annie's heart and could hear her blood pumping to her heart as well as her own. What's going on? I can't move? And why is everything so loud? Annie.. she seems off.. but why is this suddenly happening? Why is she... being weird...? Kira thought to herself. She began to have to manually get herself to breath as she began to sway a bit from lack of oxygen. A cold jolt shot through her spine as Annie turned her cold, blue gaze to her. Annie's cold gaze pierced through her very soul. Kira trembled, not being able to hear the others call her name. The last thing she saw was Annie's face morph into a titan's face for a split second before she blacked out.
Mikasa quickly caught her before she could fall, her eyes widening slightly in shock. She held her close as Kira's body shook in a fit of shivers. She laid her down onto the ground and pressed the back of her hand against her forehead. She rested her head on her lap and felt for her pulse. Kira had always gone to infirmary for some headaches but she didn't expect for her to pass out from them.
