Finding Strength [Attack on Titan Fanfic]

• Chapter Twenty •

"Get to your positions!" Zeke hissed.

Kira opened her eyes, laying down and curled up. The sun was just beginning to rise. She sat up and rubbed her eyes before blinking as they all got prepared. They're here! She thought, hope filling her once more. She looked over and saw Reiner sweep the fire, kettle, and cups off the wall and it fell down below. She got to her feet and glared as Seki neared.

"No use in fighting it." Seki said as he wrapped an arm around her as her eyes went blank. He softly rubbed her back before looking at the others.

"Okay, you two will be in the wall hidden. You will know when it's the right time to attack. Don't mess this up." Zeke said to Reiner and Bertholdt.

The two men nodded before going and getting inside the wall and closing up the hole. Zeke looked at Seki. "Now, lets get going. They'll be here soon." He said. He jumped off the wall and transformed. He extended his hand, letting Seki and Kira go on his palm. He placed them on his shoulder before walking off and away from the wall. He got in his place and summoned titans to stand beside him.

"This is absolutely incredible." Seki boosted. He looked at his daughter. "When the time is right you will attack your precious Levi." He said. "The strongest and the most vital source for their humanity to be restored."

Kira stared ahead, her eyes dulled out. She softly shook before she gritted her teeth. No. He will kill all of you. And if he can't. I will. She thought. Her shoulders shook before she shoved him away and gasped. She shivered as she got control over her own body again. She looked at her hands before looking at him, glaring.

"I'm not some puppet that will be controlled." She spat, hands balling up into fists. "I'm tired of this. I'm tired of all of this." She gritted her teeth before spit on him. She wiped her mouth, eyes narrowed in rage.

Seki frowned at her heavily and glared as he was spit on. He wiped the spit from his cheek. "I don't think you have a choice either way." He snapped, getting tired of her attitude and behavior. "Enough of this. You will do as I say!" He lifted his hand and slapped her across her cheek.

"I'm tired of being disrespected! I am your father whether you like it or not! Nothing will change that fact!" Seki hissed, slapping her again.

Kira gasped, holding her burning cheek. She ducked her head and looked away from him. She stared at the ground below, eyes watering. You're not my father. And never will be. She thought. She squeezed her eyes shut as she felt the pulsing pain in her cheek from the slaps. She opened her eyes and looked ahead. She could see the wall before blinking as she could see people. Please help.

Before she knew it the beast titan began to throw chunks of rock towards them. Kira's eyes widened as she could hear their pained screams. She trembled as the beast titan continued and she took in a shaky breath. She covered her ears and fell to her knees. "No! Stop it! Stop!" She screamed. She glared up at the beast titan. "You monster!" She yelled.
