Finding Strength [Attack on Titan Fanfic]

• Chapter Thirteen •

Eren burst through the debris, his titan giving a loud battle cry as he raced off towards Kira and Annie's direction. He jumped over anything that got in his way and then took Annie down, sending her to the ground and punching her. Kira emerged from the destroyed building, smoke coming off her as her wounds were healing. She dissolved the ice that has trapped Annie and had covered the ground. She looked at Eren and Annie before a something switched in her head. Her control over her titan becoming in shambles. She looked down and scanned the ground before spotting a figure. The figure peered from around the corner of a building. It stared directly up at Kira. She stared at the figure unable to make out a face. She moved her attention over towards Annie and Eren. She didn't know why but she felt the urge to kill. To kill both of them. She looked directly at Eren as he became her first target.

Kira then ran over and knocked Eren off Annie. She punched his face, her red eyes blank. Her titan moved on its own as if Kira had no power over its actions. Eren grunted and looked at her, eyes widen in confusion. He glared at her and threw her off quickly. He growled as Annie ran towards the wall and began to climb. Kira's titan form remained still as it hit the ground. No movements came from the body. The impact causing her to become emotionless. Armin then moved over to Kira's titan body, worried as he saw the scene unfold in front of him.

Mikasa rushed over to the wall, not going to allow Annie to escape. She flew through the air and slashed Annie's fingers off. She looked down at her, eyes boring down onto her. She pushed her down with one kick and shot her hooks into the walls so she wouldn't hit the floor. She watched as Annie hit the floor and Eren attacked, biting down on her nape and taking her out. Just then Eren's body began to merge with Annie's titan body. Annie became visible but it seemed that a blue crystal was surrounding her, encasing her in a protective barrier.

Levi then came in and slashed Eren out of his titan form, destroying the process of the fusion. "Idiot. You can't eat her." He said. "We need her alive."

Commander Hanji and others began to get Annie onto a moveable tarp as they saw that she was in a crystal. Mikasa had Eren as Levi made his way to Kira's titan.

Armin looked at Kira's titan, eyes wide. He softly patted her ear. "Kira? Can you hear me?" He asked. "Please come out."

     He moved to her nape and grabbed his blade. He pursed his lips before stabbing the blade down before gasping as the blade snapped in half. "Kira, there's no danger! You don't need to protect yourself." He said.

     He looked at the blade that snapped before dropping the other half of the blade, head drooping. "Kira please..." He whispered.

     Armin looked up as he saw Captain Levi come. "Sir, I can't get her out. The blades aren't going through. She had a protective coating on her titan for some reason." He said. "And I can't reach her. And I don't understand what happened. She attacked Eren." He said, eyes wide.
