No point giving you timings today Brown, I have no patience for that kind of kitty business now.
You know how Mondays are.
Today was no different.
Except the fact that I was tired like hell because I could hardly sleep last night with Max texting me and all that... Uh how I wished I could climb back into my bed and doze off!
That is to say the least.
I am at the Uni.. but right now I am free. So I tip-toed to the library, opened my diary and started writing.
You would be good to remember that taking notes in the library is the safest way of updating you Brown!
I kept my fingers crossed. I dont want all those bitches to come and screw my day all over again.
If they found me here, they would try to pry my diary away from me and then spread rumors about it. Thats how they are. They cant stand it when you are different than them. Or when you dont worship the path they trod by.
Anyways so there I sat in the corner. Thinking how best to mention all that happened last night in a nutshell.
To begin from the beginning.. it was somewhat like this.
I got the text from Max. And in my state of shock I dropped my diary on the floor beside my bed. As I stooped to pick it up, the phone started vibrating. It scared me so much that I fell down myself.
Finally with a gasp, I picked up the phone and said 'hello', while rubbing my head and wincing in pain.
Its a wonder that I didnt break my skull after hitting the bed-post that hard.
Max probably heard my squeals as I suppressed further cries of agony on discovering a swollen mound on top of my head with my probing fingers.
He asked what happened.. and I came up with this most intelligent reason ever recorded by anyone .. ''Oh you know.. I have this.. uhm cat.. and she likes to oww ouch.. nibble my finger playfully sometimes so hehe... " I trailled off with that lame explanation, closing it with some more nervous giggles. Hoping against hope that he'd buy it.
And he perhaps did believe it. But he laughed and in between his laughter he said something that I couldnt make out. Because his baritone voice that shook pleasantly with his laugh ringing in my ears, distracted me.
When I realised he was waiting for my response I mumbled some yah and uhms and then allowed him to do the talking once again.. doing the job of giving him my encouragement in the form of 'oh' and 'hmm' so that the conversation flowed.
He told me about his recent zoology passion and how he had taken his father's approval for attending a zoology camp.
I listened quietly .. entranced by his husky voice.
And then just like that.. his voice gradually became more like a soft mumbling. Suddenly, he paused and then I could hear nothing.
I said a few helloo but when the sound of a snore filtered into my phone, I realised the boy had fallen asleep!
I laughed at him, then disconnected the call and jumped into my bed.
All this while I had been sitting on the floor and listening to him talking. As I sank into the depths of my blanket I curled up my toes inside. And soon I was dozing off.
That was.. at 4:47am.
