One night, Sam was asleep in her quarters — at the SGC — dreaming a very odd dream. She experienced things that she had never seen in her life. Like all dreams, it starts off very pleasant and ends up horribly confusing. This is usually because the one dreaming comes back to reality with the leftover effects of the dream world, but in Sam's case, it was so much more.

She woke up suddenly and sat up, just staring into space. At first, it felt like she could not recall where she was other than in bed. What really startled her was when she put her hand on her forehead, she realized she was sweating. "Wow! What a dream. I guess, or is there something wrong with me."

After realizing where she was — Stargate Command — she got out of bed and dressed up to see if olè Doc Frasier was in her office. She did not want to have an examination by her but talk to her about how she felt about this dream.

When she got there, she smiled. Janet asked after realizing she was up and should be sleeping, "Is everything okay?"

"I'm not sure. I had a very weird dream, but I think there may be something wrong with me."

Dr. Fraiser felt her forehead. "You seem to be fine, but your forehead seems to be wet for someone that just got out of bed. Please have a seat and talk to me."
