It is as common as the rocks that lay upon the shore

Their presence always seen but not always known

The few dozen you grasp, lead you on

But the evil is overwhelming

Each step is not one easily earned

Seemingly tethered to your past

The ominous eyes behind you

Glow only in the dark

Each and every sin builds on to the weight you bear

Your savior is mercy

Handing you the restart button

Your sins erased in a simple click

The only outstretched hand you will ever need

As you carry on the path you encounter peace in the tranquil stream

Giving heart warming images of everyone you have ever loved

Waiting just ahead only for you

Giving you a map of hope and faith

To carry on your destined journey
