Hours before the guest arrived....

An old man walked into his laboratory, where robotic parts layed all over the desk and tables. He walked over to the end of the lab where his project layed.

His robot bride sat in a chair, lifeless. He was working, trying to create a life like robot that he could love. He stroked his hand on the robot's life like face. Her beauty and grace, ever so majestic.

"It's finally done," he smiled, before pulling a lever down on the wall. The robot bride awakened. Her eyes fluttering open. "Hello, Dear."

"My husband," The bride gretted as she stood up. She walked over to the man. They smiled at each other before putting their hands on each other and slow dancing to nothing but their love for each other.

"I got something for you," He exclaimed, pulling a gold ring from his pocket. He showed it to the bride, her smile widening. She took it in her hands.

"I love you," She said. They looked at each before the bride suddenly jolts back and forth, sparks flying from her body.

"No!" He yelled, holding her in his arms as she malfunctioned and her eyes closed. Soon, a brunette girl with a jetpack ran in.

"What happened?" She asked, worried.

"Just go! Your service is no longer required." He cried. She slowly left, leaving the old man in tears.

...................................

The group was in the voting room, looking at each, before Gabe broke the silence.

"Well Mikaylah is dead now,"

"And we don't even have a gem!" Stewart whined.

"First, we don't play by her rules. Now we play by her rules, she kills one of us, and we don't get what we're promised?" Nathan asked, clearly frustrated.

"So a gem doesn't even equal a life at this point." Amber muttered.

GABE THE SAVANT: (Mikaylah died, basically for nothing. We don't have the gem that we were promised, and we played fair and square.)

"It doesn't matter if we get a gem. There are no rules," Jeda stated. "It doesn't matter who goes into these battles of death. Someone is dying we just don't know who,"

"I don't understand that, there has to be something more," Gabe said.

JEDA THE VUADVILLIAN: (Last time, Mikaylah died and she wasn't even in the battle!)

"Guys!" Stewart yelled. He pointed at a door that suddenly opened.

"Should we go in there?" Amber wondered.

Bing! Bing! Bing!

"What is that!?" Nathan yelled.

AMBER THE POET: (All of a sudden this terrifying bing sound is just blasting, so we all just run into the other room.)

"What is this? It's a machine!" Gabe stated, pointing at a big machine on the table.

STEWART THE DETECTIVE: (This giant machine is on a table. It has a screen with the number 10 on it. I also notice that the machine is missing pieces.)

"There's a lock on here, and a note on the side of the machine." Amber stated. "Spin twice?" She was confused by the note.

"Guys, there are like machine pieces everywhere," Nathan pointed out. "We need to get all these pieces and put them by the machine and figure this out.
