One night that I remember particularly well, every second, every detail absolutely crystal clear.

The night I would give anything to change, I was turned into a soulless monster, I was technically dead. Or at least I wished I was.

I was walking through an ally way which was a short cut back to the cabin, the skies clear and the moon full and bright shining in all its glory. Not a cloud in sight. A supposedly perfect night that took a turn for the worst.

I was humming a song that Em used to sing for me when I couldn't get to sleep and at the moment it was the only thing that kept my sanity in tact. I had lost everything I really had nothing left, But yet here I stand at seventeen years old by myself doing okay in life. Not that it was really living a life but it was enough or so I thought.

My train of thought lost as I was all of a sudden slammed and pinned up against a wall by an ice cold pale hand her long fingers wrapping around my throat. She was stronger and faster than any human could ever be, she had a drop of blood rolling down her chin.

She was a what we humans believed only to be real in fairytales, she was a vampire and I was her next meal.

Her voice like silk but it had a deadly ring to it. This was one of times where I wished so hard that Emmett was here to protect me but I knew that was never going to happen.

She whacked my head against the wall and bit me, I fell into darkness feeling like I was being burned alive. At the moment the only I wanted was death.
