Hi, sorry I haven't updated in a while and I know it's not that long but doing school from home due to the Corona virus is really hard, and I really haven't had any time to update because of all this extra homework we have to do.

Lilianna P.O.V

It had been a few hours since my breakdown, and I know I should be out with our guests instead of crying, but I don't know how I'll be able to hold up after hearing that name. But pushing my emotions aside I know I have a job to do.

My professionalism comes first to people I don't know, but I am determined to get to know this coven. Anyone in Aro's good books, has to be someone to hold in high respects.

From what I've heard from Aro about Carlisle, he is definitely someone I look up to.  I took up animal drinking as soon as Aro gave me the option, people do think that we as guards are forced to drink human blood. but we all are given the option.

Most just choose to stick to a vampires natural diet. It most likely gives Aro a tighter hold over the vampire world. It makes us look stricter, in my case it wouldn't matter my eyes don't give away anything, due to their unnatural colour.

Jane and Alec left a while ago Heidi had just bought in a new group of humans, since I became involved with the Volturi, they had tried to direct the groups they fed off to just criminals. Though we all new how difficult that was, as much as I don't live this lifestyle I can't say that I fully blame them for it. I mean vampires will be vampires, and there's really not anything anyone can do about it.

I heard Felix and Demetri escort the Cullen's to their rooms not to long ago, so I figured I may as well have a proper conversation with them, mentally though of course.

I walk to down the hall to the east wing which is where the guest chambers are, the masters are in the left wing. While we the elite guards have the bottom half of the queens tower. I though have a room right across from the queens as Aro thinks it'd safer if we were ever attacked.

I knocked on Carlisle and Esme's door first, she answered it a surprised look well I did leave the room in tears so yeah I can't imagine what a first impression I made on them. She welcomes me in anyway.

I see Carlisle in the corner reading one of the many books that lined the wall of shelves. Then his gaze turned towards me "ah, Lilianna I'm sorry if we hurt you in anyway, I didn't expect to see you anytime soon but I would be willing to make it up to you if I could." he says, I reply in his mind "no need, you don't know anything about what has happened, it's not your fault."

We spent the next few hours conversing, they answered many off my never ending questions.

Both Esme and Carlisle reminded me off my parents, I hope if anything I can get closer to them. Aro and Sulpicia are great but they have never had kids, something which Carlisle and Esme have experience with, I had actually spent my night with all of the other Cullen's as well.

I found out that Alice and I shared the love of shopping and fashion, she promised me that one way or another she would drag me on a future shopping spree in France, not that I particularly minded but I don't like to spend a lot off money at once, but I knew that once I was with Alice there was no way of getting out of buying lots of things.

Jasper and I spent hours talking about the southern wars which had also fascinated me ever since I was little, much of it was of his past which I knew he didn't like to talk about, but seemed at ease with me.

Though the Cullen that I got along with the most was Edward, we became best friends extremely fast, he particularly liked that he couldn't hear anybody else's thoughts when I was near him or talked to him.

I can imaging how annoying it would be never being able to turn his gift off. From then on I confided in Edward and he confided in me, we both promised to be there for each other no matter what, no matter who. Forever and always.
