"Wh-whats the deal?" I asked Zain, the guy who punched me earlier. I knew his name, he was always being talked about and praised.

"You know, we would have definitely done something to you on Friday, but you're... different. Do you want to join us?"

"Um... what is it like?" I asked. I had never been popular. Always the outcast. And I had only ever had one good friend. Sean. But he moved away last year.

"Aha, it's great. H*ll of a lot of fit ladies too," Harry said.

"That's it?"

"No, we're also working on revenge for the two b*tches you were with."

"Why? What did they do?"

"Oh some pretty bad stuff, but you actually have some good skills we can use."

"I-I do?"

"Yeah. You're great for spying. So, what do you say, huh? Five friends and the whole school likes you or you stay a loser with those two?"

"I...uh, did you just call me a loser?"

"Well you're going to be one if you keep hanging out with them."

"Okay, I'm in, as long as the catch is good, so what's the catch?" Finally, I would get to be popular for once, it was something I had always wanted to try, and now here the chance was, right in front of me, ready for me to take.

"There is no catch. Just be a loyal spy and we won't rethink."

"Deal." I just took that chance, now I have it. Thank you, life.

How did I even end up here?

It's because I've lived here for 13 years. Almost 14.

I had to go back as quick as possible. I turned around to leave, but a voice stopped me.

"You agreed to stay out of my life!" Mia yelled. I whipped around and walked up to her, trying to fight the fear.

"I did, but maybe since you made me get kicked out, I accidentally ended up here."

Suddenly, an extremely cold gust of wind hit me and I stumbled backwards, shutting my eyes and shivering. This was even worse than her blowing on me. How did she even do that?

"Can you please stop that?" I asked, trying to polite.

"No!" she immediately replied.

"Look, I didn't mean to accidentally come here! It's just that I was running wherever my heart would take me and I ended up here because I'm used to it!" I explained.

"I th-"

"Emma! There you are! Lets go," Dani asked, coming up to me.

"No one is leaving without my permission," Mia said roughly as something glower underneath her jumper sleeves on each arm. How did she even do that? She seemed to have a lot of tricks up her sleeve.

"Whoa, calm down," Dani said, looking at the lights as well. The lights slowly faded away.

That was not normal. We did not just have lights that changed according to our mood. Unless Mia had some sort of anger management system equipped there that Dani knew about. But still, she was only 11.

"No, I won't calm down! We don't take rejection well and you just rejected our deal," she said, the lights glowing again. I wish I could see under her sleeves, then I would know exactly what was going on,

"Mia, just calm down. I can still report you, you know." Did Dani seriously want to report Mia to the police? The police wouldn't even believe her.

"I'm not scared of them. Now, who wants to become and ice sculpture first?" she said, holding up her hands as if she were gripping an imaginary ball. Was she mad? She could 't turn any of us into ice sculptures, that's impossible.

"Mia! Just stop already! We're sorry for showing up, I know we shouldn't have, but Emma accidentally went the wrong way. Please can we just return to the deal we had before?"

"Okay. Sure. But this time, no more mistakes, you stupid idiots. And I won't stay away forever, but I'm letting you go, happy?" she said, as the lights slowly faded. It was still creepy how she did that.

As Dani and I rushed away, I heard her yell something.

"Ugg, why did I just do that, there was my chance!" Was she planning something on me? I couldn't be sure, but probably yes.

"Shake it off. Okay? Forget about what she said," Dani advised. I nodded as we jogged back to her place. My ruck sack kept bumping on my back, making it hard to really jog, but I tried my best.

"And by the way, you did really great back there. So brave, Emma. I'm proud."

"Thanks, but what happened to Niall?"

"Oh my god, you're right! Niall!" Dani gasped.

Liam's PoV

I'm rethinking. Have I gone a bit too overboard?

I mean, I've seen Emma cry numerous times, but that's only because she's weak, right? Because Danielle isn't crying.

I don't know, I just keep thinking. But honestly, it's fun to bully. I can't stop, I'm addicted. It's like a drug.

I shut my journal closed and put my pencil down. Have I really gone too far?
