After we saw Dom outside, the time picked up. A girl gave me a black bead necklace and it's actually my favorite thing ever. They passed around pink and white cowboy hats for us to sign.
The metal detector moves up and down my body, only going off at my belly button ring. The person gave me a look before nodding their head, letting me move through the gate.
I flash the girl my ticket and she scans it, wrapping a purple armband around my wrist with the venue's name on it. "Have a good time tonight." She says, smiling at me. I give her a smile before taking off to the huge open room, not stopping for anything. I can feel Michelle behind me, and smile as she quickly places her hand in mine.
We move more to the right side of the room and press ourselves against the stage in front of us, my hands finding their way to the surface. It's insane that there's no barrier between it, making me feel like I could jump on the stage if I wanted to.
...I won't though.
My adrenaline is pumping right now and for some reason, I feel like I'm loaded on it. I know I'm not gonna get tired until we step foot into Michelle's house, until the reality of the situation finally sets in.
Being surrounded by people who love and care for the same person as much as I do is the best feeling in the world, and I can't wait to feel what I'm sure they're going to feel too.
Feeling this with not only my brother, but my best friend, which is wild because I only met her barely two months ago. It's crazy how quick she trusted me and invited me into her home, though I get the feeling that she doesn't like people.
I wonder how other people view me, how the probably already one hundred in total, think when they first see me. Maybe even what Dom thought.
Michelle drags me out of my thoughts for what may be the tenth time tonight, and I look to the right of me. "What's up? My butterflies are on ten." I comment, and she giggles at me. I roll my eyes, looking forward.
"You're so nervous it's my favorite thing ever," she smirks at me, pinching my side. I glare at her, starting to chuckle too. "I'm glad I'm here." She looks at me, holding eye contact, showing she's being sentimental.
"I'm glad you're here too," I keep the eye contact. "You're the cherry on the ice cream." I chuckle again, giving her a geeky compliment. She places her hand to her heart, making a face at me.
"Awww shucks," She laughs. She leans her head forward and I look at the stage, watching a couple of the workers walk around.
"Can you actually fucking believe that we are here? We really waited that long to get in, now we're here, waiting for your boyfriend to put on a show." She picks at me, the smug look still on her face. I give her another look.
"Watch it." I laugh, feeling myself being pressed against the stage as more and more people flood their way into the venue.
Honestly, the doors opened, and now we're here waiting. Again. It's quickly becoming hot and I thank God that I didn't wear pants, and that I completely decided to change my whole outfit. Well, Michelle did anyways.
The opening act is supposed to come on in thirty minutes, exactly at eight. They'll be up there for an hour, maybe thirty minutes, so Dom should be in front of us by nine thirty.

"YUNGBLUD YUNGBLUD YUNGBLUD!" We chant, dripping in sweat already after the opening act, Missio. They were good, and we were all vibing. Some of their songs had the same vibe as Dom, and it was fucking amazing. However, I know everybody is ready to see Dom on the stage, and oh god, am I ready to see this boy jump around and kiss his best friend.
