"I'm just a kid with a cold pretending it's a fever!" I scream, pumpingp my fists into the air. Braindead! plays through the speakers and Dom watches me from the bed, in his condo that he owns in fucking New York.

We hopped on a plane and it is now 8 PM, him telling me that I was gonna like this more cause it'll feel more like home. I guess since Dom does find himself in New York a lot that it makes sense for him to have some type of place to stay when he comes.

He paid for my plane ticket, the food we got when we landed, and literally everything else but the drink I bought for him this morning.

The plane ride was much more lovely with Dom right beside me but I know it's not gonna be like that when I have to go back, which can't help but creep it's way upon me.

I also can't help but to think that I'm pulling him away from time that he could be using to see his momma, and I know that if I was gone for months at a time that I would want to see my family but he's pushing it off to hang out with me.

"Hey uh- we can go see your mom if you want." I stop in the middle of the music to suggest it to him, and he looks up at me from the phone.

He smiles at me, moving to turn down the music on his phone. "You're precious, but they're not home anyways. I'll catch em next time."

I nod, him going to turn the music back up. I raise my eyebrows at him as he remains on the bed and I move to where he is, grabbing his hands. He keeps the smile and I quickly pull him up from the bed.

The pretty boy's eyes hang low, props to the joint he lit up thirty minutes ago.  He takes my hand and spins me around as he continues to jam to his music that's busting through the speakers.

He pulls me close to him, grabbing my hands and spinning us in a circle. He stops, looking down at my face. The smell of mint hits my nose due to the gum he has in his mouth.

"Let's go do something." Dom says, shrugging his shoulders.

"Okay, what do you wanna do?" I ask him, raising my left eyebrow.

"A haunted house, it's October baby." He says, a smirk moving to fill up half of his face. I nod, agreeing with him on the spot.

Waiting for the Weekend starts playing, and I shut my eyes, vibing to it. Dom takes his arms and wraps them around me, vibing to it right behind me.

He sings the words into my ears, goosebumps starting there and moving all the way down my back before coasting throughout my whole body.

"Could you be my lover," he sings along, twisting the ends of my fingers around his hair. I crane my neck as he moves his lips there. "Or is this pretend?" He sings, my goosebumps rising all across my skin. I take this time to turn around to him.

I grab the strings on his hoodie, looking up at his face. My mind moves back and forth between whether or not to say something that's serious or.. I don't even know actually.

"Mmmm, I don't think this is just pretend." I speak, and he raises his eyebrows at me. He makes me feel the same way as it feels to listen to his music, to touch his skin, to smile at him, to receive one back.

I lean closer, my lips finding their way to his plump lipstick covered ones. The seconds tick by and my nerves find themselves standing on end as he slips his tongue into my mouth, gripping his fingers into my hips.
