2:30 AM. I stepped off the flight, looking at the very unfamiliar airport around me. My feet move me along the ground, as I move to baggage claim to get my stuff. After I do that I sit down, waiting to see him and also realizing that I'm hungry as hell.

Dom took too much time to convince me to fly out to DC. But seeing that it did actually align with my fall break and I have no reason to go against it, I decided to come.

Honestly, I'm more excited to see him than anything. I know his life is complicated and he tours all the time, but I love that he still makes time for me. It makes my heart smile that the first thing he thought of when he got a break was me.

My phone dings and it's a message from Dom. I smile, seeing that it's a picture of an escalator. I grab my luggage and drag it behind me, trying to situate it as I start my journey down the escalator. My eyes find themselves wandering up, and my face breaks out into a smile as Dom stands at the bottom, a sign in his hand. The letter A with a heart.

He's the cutest fucker I have ever met in my entire life and I'm so happy that God gave me the privilege to be the one that's putting his smile on his face.

The beautiful boy winks at me as I finally reach his level, and I don't have any time to think as I pick myself up into a run, not wanting to be separated from him for any longer. My mind moves to when I first met him not too long ago, and how it's going to feel the exact same, maybe even better.

I run into him with a small force, and wrap my arms around him. Time feels like it's ticking away as he wraps his arms around me, the sound of the sign dropping on the floor. His hand moves to the back of my head, the other arm around my waist.

"Alaina baby I missed you!" He yelled as he pulls back from me. He looks over my face one good time and pulls me closer to him, planting a kiss on my forehead.

"I missed you too Dom." I place my hands around his wrists. He looks down at me and lightly pulls his hands back from me, bringing them around my waist one more time.

The warmth from his body and the hoodie that he has on engulfs me, making me feel like I could stand there forever.

He pulls back from me and picks up the sign, smoothly taking my luggage from my hand at the same time. He smirks at me and points his head, starting to walk as I stay right beside him.

"So I uh- have stuff planned for us this week. If you don't wanna do that and wanna do something completely different that's fine too." He rambles on, and I turn my head to the left to look at him.

"No, that's so cute. I'm excited." I reassure him and he smiles at me. I look forward but try to contain my smile as I feel his right arm against my left. My fingers slightly curl up when I feel his fingers start to curve, linking around mine.

We make our way out of the airport and venture out to the parking lot, the air running through my hair. It pushes my thoughts all around and I'm stuck in a state of utter shock but excitement as we continue walking. The idea of what we're gonna be doing for a couple of days is intriguing, and I can't believe I'm here.

Not only am I in a total different city and state, I'm with Dom. I'm with someone I thought I would never be in DC at two in the morning with. The sudden occurrences have left me confused overall, but also lucky and honored that I'm the one by his side at this moment.

"Where's Adam and Michael?"

He chuckles. "Probably getting drunk."

My thoughts and the conversation are interrupted as we appear in front of a black SUV, and we stop right in front of it. The sweet boy opens the back door for me and I climb in, realizing that he has a driver in the front seat. Dom climbs in behind me and shuts the door, placing the luggage in the back. My nervousness has now dawned on me, being beside him in this tight space has made me realize just how close we are.
