Six Months Later

two months later and very much has changed. luke hasn't had a homicidal breakdown in atleast four months. He's been getting less bitter by the day and has even made a few more friends. he get's to contact his bestfriends ashton, calum, and michael atleast twice, maybe even three times a month depending on his behavior. he is a genuinely happy person, even in a nut house. he and his girlfriend of five months, maylin have never been happier toghether. yes, girlfriend. they finally made it official after luke had realized he didn't want to play with her feelings. he wanted her to be his, and he got just that. unfortunately, there are pro's and con's to every situation. even though luke has improved a great amount spending time in the hospital, he still is not to be released into society for they fear he might snap at any given time and end up right back. they have given him the option to leave the asylum to go serve a life sentence in prison, but he chose to stay where it felt most like home to him. 

maylin's been free of her imaginary enemy, ace eversince she's been taking her medicine, special thanks to luke. she's been much happier now that she's with luke and sends letters to her sister katherine daily. she calls her parents once every month in hopes that they'd be happy or excited to hear from her, but doesn't let the rejection get to her. maylin hasn't had a visitor since she was admitted into here, but isn't too worried about it. fortunately for maylin, her release date is March 2nd. a month and a half away from now. leaving makes her happy and sad. she's happy she beat her condition, but sad that she has to leave luke and her friends. they both promised to keep in contact no matter what and that maylin would come visit him every chance she gets.

tate was released from the briarcliff mental institution on december 12th. he had been one of the few friends that luke had made, despite the fact luke had murdered his former girlfriend and tate planned on doing the same to him, once they got past it all they became quite good friends. tate lives on his own in new orleans. he had met a girl, her name is violet. violet was as depressed as he was when he was stuck here. tate and violet have been together for about two months.
