JEMA'S POV
The flight was quite pleasant. Around 45 minutes lang naman so Deanna and I spent the time talking about what we're gonna be doing on this vacation.
Sinundo naman kami ng family nya sa airport.
"Hija kumusta ang flight? Okay naman ba?" sabi ni Tita habang naka beso sa akin.
"Okay naman po Tita. Salamat"
"Finally. Welcome to Cebu Jema" sabi naman ni Tito.
"Thank you po Tito"
"Sya nga pala, ito si Peter at Joseph ang dalawa pang kapatid ni Deanna"
Nakipag shake hands naman si Joseph at nabigla ako nang yumakap si Peter sa akin.
"Is it true? Is it true ?! You got shot to save Sachi?" he asked excitedly.
"Yes! She's the one who saved your Sachi" si Deanna na ang sumagot.
"Whoah!!! That's so cool! You're like Wonder Woman!" Peter said in amazement.
Nakakatuwa naman tong batang to.
May napansin naman akong isa pang maliit na bata sa likod ni ate Cy. Sumisilip ito sa akin.
"This is Ava. My daughter." sabi ni ate Cy.
"Do you wanna give Sachi and Tita Jema a kiss? Go on. Don't be shy baby" sabi pa ni ate Cy.
Lumakad naman si Ava patungo sa amin. I bent down so she can give me a kiss.
The whole way papunta kila Deanna ay nakatingin lang ako sa labas ng bintana.
Ang ganda pala ng Cebu. It has a lot of modern structures but you can always see some greenery in the distant.
When we got to their place, mas lalo pa akong namangha.
Medyo malaki naman talaga ang bahay nila but what amazed me was their garden.
It looks straight out of a Japanese fairytale.
Ang ganda ng landscape.
"Ganda diba? Mom started this project a few years back and of course Dad helped her. Now it's everyone's favorite place in the house" sabi ni Deanna.
"Hija gusto mo ba munang magpahinga? Ipapainit ko pa kasi ang food. It might take a few minutes" sabi ni Tita.
Since dumating ako dito, I can really feel her family's genuine concern. They are always asking me kung pagod ba ako or kung may masakit sa akin.
Actually, I feel a whole lot better. Amazing what a change of scenery can do.
"Tulungan ko nalang po kayo" I offered.
"Nako wag na. Kami na bahala okay? You're a guest here"
"Mom I'll just take her sa garden nalang" sabi ni Deanna.
Inakyat muna namin ang mga gamit sa kwarto ni Deanna.
Her room was still very tidy. And it was filled with her childhood pics.
"Ang cute mo naman pala nong bata ka. So anong nangyari?" pang-aasar ko sa kanya.
"Ang cute, naging maganda na hehe"
