She’s all alone again because she stopped Gab from chatting with her anymore. She cuts their connection. But as every seconds tick down, she realized something: Time might heal all wounds but she needs to help herself to get over the pain of the past. It’s been quite a while and she should be on her way to recovery. Maybe she needs someone to disturb her.

“May I?” a familiar voice banged in her ears. “Gabriel, lunkhead soccer man, left you with bleeding heart for 10 years.”

She stared at the guy. He is someone tough, a self-confident ma who is figuring out some fairly importance of life and emerged with remarkably mysterious attitude towards other people.

“Sir Ian, you sur---“

“I know I surprised you, I’m sorry,” he interrupted.
“Ah yeah,” she said nervously. Why is he talking with me anyway? So unusual, she questioned her mind.

“Is it bad talking to you? I know you’re thinking that I’m unusual to talk to my employees. I’ve been so tired in my office so here I am, socializing to the first person I see,” Ian said and finally gave her a warm smile.
All filled with unknown mystery. She knew it was stupid for her to think this but he was like a mind-reader. She can be compared to Edward Cullen or Stefan Salvatore. He can be more handsome than them. He is gorgeous. She cracked one shy laugh.

“Ah, with all due respect, sir, how did you know about Gab?” she asked.

“Oh, that?” he grinned playfully. “Of course, I watched ESPN yesterday. It surprised me a lot. I’m also a sport enthusiast, so yeah, the only channel I watched during weekends is ESPN. It only happened that it’s soccer.”
Ian Bautista is the son of the owner of the Bautista Company. Ian is a perfect idea of simplicity, sophistication and glamour that most of his girl employees are craving fir his touches. He’s blown everyone away except for Shin’s attention.

Shin’s eyebrows met in confusion. “Are you---?”

Stalking me, ugh, stupid idea again, she thought.
“You know it’s not impossible to stalk someone as beautiful as you are, Shin. I still manage to notice you despite of my hectic schedule but it’s you who is not that approachable,” he honestly told her. “Now wonder soccer man falls for you.”

Shin bowed her head shyly. Ian just said she is beautiful. She smiled timidly and she felt her cheeks flushed in redness. She fought a smile to him but there’s striking her mind. Gosh, people will say I’m flirting with him just to get the supervisor spot while I’m not, she thought again. She made a disgusting look though Ian easily read her thoughts by her reaction.

“Shin, you’re not a flirt, are you?” he intriguingly asked and quickly, she shook her head. Both of them exchanged meaningful glances. She was more possessed by the irresistible urge to cling to him, which she can’t confidently do. He seemed to be just a breath away. It was also as if she was suddenly under his spells because slowly, he started moving his head closer to her. To her surprised, it seemed as if he intended to kiss her. She gasped and stepped back. She shouldn’t be giving him that much liberty.

“Sir, I should go now…”

“Shin, you can call me Ian from now on. No sir required,” he interrupted as though he’s indicating that he doesn’t want to let go of her yet. “Please do… and ah, wanna hitch a ride?”

“Yes, I mean, no,” she panicked. “S-Sir, I mean, I-Ian? I can handle myself, thank you.”

“Be careful, Shin. It would be good for you if Gab would be around, right?”

She could barely speak. He controlled the whole conversation. “Uh… yeah, goodbye.”

“Nice talking to you, Shin.”

Upon her arrival to her house, she was shocked. She never felt any happier before in her life. Her life was changing the way she had never imagined. There stood a familiar guy, waiting for someone in front of her gate. Her eyes went teary.

“G-Gab?” she called him as he turned at her with a shy yet charming smile. It feels as though she can’t move her feet even if in her mind, she wants to run to him.
Gab was a few inches taller than her. He was completely the type of guy that a woman should be addicted of. He was even more handsome than Chris Evans himself. He had a nice body, tight and trim with not an ounce of excess flesh. It made him look sexy… and dangerous.

They were like nonlike poles that they easily magnetized and got carried away by their thoughts. She didn’t expect that their first meeting will have the most extraordinary feeling ever. He imprisoned her in his arms. “Is it alright for me to do this?”

“W-What are you doing?” she stammered at words.

“Hugging you the way I’ve been dreaming of,” he answered; his voice was full of emotions. She now knows the feeling of being loved and it makes her glad. She totally missed this guy. Once in her life, she thought to herself that she would live without even a possibility that he would return her feelings. “I really miss you. Shin? I’ve got something to confess to you”

“Y-You are cold,” she commented. “Gab, let’s go inside the house.”

Gab agreed. When they reached inside, Shin and Gab stayed in the living room and talked a lot about everything. The exciting part is Gab had his confession to make. At the moment, Shin felt assured of her feelings to Gab, it was remarkably wonderful. At least now, she can be proud of saying his name.

“How did you get here by so fast?” she mindly asked.
“Manila is not that far, I got here by plane so yeah, it wasn’t that difficult for me.”

“I know but your efforts ---” she cuts halfway of her sentence. “Uh… where are you going to sleep?”

“Probably not in your room,” he joked but she didn’t laugh at all. She looked so pale, so fragile and so pretty. Everytime she stares at him, he can’t help to wonder whether these characteristics made him fall in love with this girl so deeply. “I just check in from a hotel across the Bautista Company.”

“Great… I work there as a chemist,” she happily said, a bright glow of light in her eyes.

“What do you do there?” he inquired as if he’s interested.
“Stuffs… just stuffs,” her answer was short, he left dissatisfied. “Okay… that company was famous for making medicines… at my first 2 years, I kind of --- yeah, worked with some medicines. Now, I’m more in paper works but still in touch with the chemicals. Happy?”

“Yeah, happy… but I don’t want to visit you and disturb you at work. It will only add complications,” he said and looked at her brown eyes meaningfully like he wants to lock her in his mysterious world. “Listen, I’ve got something to say.”

She sat still and let herself listen to him the whole time but she rather feels strange than being irresistible to his looks. He was strangely hot in his simple polo shirt.
“Go ahead. I will listen.”

“It was 10 years ago since I’ve hurt your feelings and I was sorry for that. Listen, it was me who stopped you from chatting with me and that wasn’t miss_trigger. She was my classmate way back in high school and I told her to pretend as my girlfriend and threat you or something. I used her because she was like, the prettiest in our class,” he revealed.

“Why did you do that? Is that on purpose?” she raised her voice, glaring at him though she’s not exactly mad.
“Yeah… I want you being with me. I told you that you’re fun to be with and you’re just stunningly pretty and I have to admit to you right now that I suddenly felt I am falling for you and I was afraid,” he shared. “I’ sorry, Shin. I was only 17 or 18 that’s why I didn’t have the courage to say it to you.”

“I understand. Just shut up and please embrace me like the way I wanted you to do,” she commanded him

He hugged her and never let her go. It sent her shivers throughout her body. Now she knows it all: only Joy. Passion. Being Loved. She knew it’d be stupid for her to think this but he is the man who is truly meant for her. He never speak about anything when he hugged her. Her cheeks flushed, of course. That night was the most memorable night of all.
