Solar Beginnings

Author's Note

HOWDY! Name's Christian. I'm the author of this fine story, Solar Beginnings. I just wanted to clarify a few things about the story, why it wasn't updated in so long, stuff like that.

Alright. First things first, I do apologize that this story went so long without being updated at all. I got busy with personal stuff and school, and I just never found the time or the drive to put out anything new for this, which is kinda crappy of me to do since my best friend is waiting on this story to continue so I can write something for him. So, if he does see this story, I apologize. But to my readers who wanted this to continue, or even if you didn't really ever care, I'm sorry I didn't update it. I should be able to start regularly updating this now, probably once every school day. But with that comes shorter chapters, which means the time of which I need to finish the story will be extended a short time.

Now, onto what has happened. So, Summer Flare is currently a young foal trying to do his best to help out anyone. Summer is growing up during a time in which Changelings have overpopulated, which Queen Chrysalis used to her advantage against Equestria. She's slowly but surely taking more and more of Equestria, and as of Chapter 3, have made it up North as far as Dragonlands, which worries the princesses, as the Dragons could be a dangerous ally to the Changelings. The rulers know that the dragons and ponies have never gotten along, and if the dragons can take pony land, they may not hesitate to do so. The Royal Guard is fighting off the changelings, and between that and protecting the Princesses, they're getting worn out. New recruits may not be done fast enough to make a difference. So soon, the princesses will set their sights on a young foal with much potential. It will take him time to learn the ropes, but whether or not he will manage? That you will just have to read to find out.
