I entered the castle and was pestered with questions like "How was your trip" and "Was the Changeling Hive nice?"
All of which I replied to with only good things.
I made my way into the Throne Room and bowed to the princesses before their questions started.
"How was your trip to the Changeling Hive, Summer?" Cadence asked me.
"It was alright. Pharynx was super grief-stricken when I first got there, but I talked to him and he understood that his son's sacrifice, while horrible a tragedy, was the thing that saved Equestria." I said.
"That's good." Cadence said.
"There was something weird that happened on the train though. Some pony was asking me a bunch of weird questions. I didn't get a very good look at him, though. He was in a cloak that covered most of his body. But he was asking me questions like how it felt to be equestria's hero. It was very weird. Very suspicious. But it's too late to track him down now." I said.
They all thought for a moment.
"That does sound weird. And I think some of us have an idea as to who it is you saw, but we have no way to be sure now. Once he's gone, you don't see him again." Luna said.
"Ominous, much?" I asked.
"We wish we could tell you more, but we can't." Kate said.
"Unless we're sure it is him, speaking of him is a major risk." Bluebell said.
"So we can't do anything until we're sure it's him?" I asked.
"No." Celestia replied.
"That sucks. But I'm tired after that train ride. I'll see you all tomorrow." I told them.
"Goodnight, Summer." Kate told me.
"Night." I said simply. I walked up to my room, keeping my head high. Whatever it was, it wouldn't bother me now. But even with that, I walked up to my room with even more questions than I had answers, and sleep didn't come for a long time.
