NOW OR NEVER

COLLEEN OPENED UP THE TRUNK OF STEVE'S CAR, REVEALING THE BUCKETS OF RAW MEAT AND THE BOTTLES OF GASOLINE. She pulled the yellow gloves on before picking up a bucket and placing it on the ground. The three of them had spent the whole night preparing for the trap that they had planned. Dustin had kept trying to get in contact with any of the party but he had no luck. Colleen had called Six and told him that she was staying over Steve's, and the three were up all night planning until they eventually fell asleep over Steve's house since his family had gone away for the weekend.

Dustin rounded the car with a smile on his face, Lucas had finally gotten in contact with him and he was on his way to help. Colleen strapped her bow and arrows on her back and picked up one of the meat filled buckets as the three of them made their way into the woods. They had decided that the abandoned junkyard would be their safest bet to set up, since no one goes out there and they wouldn't get in the way of their plan.

Dustin led the way down the old train tracks towards the junkyard, tossing the meat onto the path. They were trying to lure Dart in their direction, and Colleen steadied herself on the one rail as she tried to tightrope walk across it. Steve caught onto what his best friend was trying to do so he pushed her arm softly so she tipped off. She narrowed her eyes at him and scooped up a handful of raw meat and threatened to throw it at him.

"Don't you dare think about it!"

Steve immediately dug into his bucket and held it up towards her, so Colleen stuck her tongue out and made a disgusted noise. Not wanting to test him as she dropped her handful of meat back into the bucket. "This is gross," She whined out, as they continued walking down the path. Dustin some feet ahead of them now, "So how far is this junkyard exactly, Dustin? My feet hurt," Colleen let out a defeated sigh.

"Why'd we bring a girl?" Dustin snapped his head back towards the two bickering teenagers  and Colleen's jaw dropped offendedly.  Dustin shrugged his shoulders, "I mean... I know that we technically dragged you out here. But I am happy you agreed to help. We need you."

Colleen skipped ahead so she was walking beside Dustin now as they both tossed some meat onto the trail. She gave a weak smile, "I wish I could say I'm happy to help. So where exactly did you find Dart anyway?"

"In my trash can on Halloween, and I thought it would be cool. To show everyone you know. And there's this girl..." He trailed off which gained Colleen's curiosity, "I thought that maybe she would be interested, you know?"

Colleen's lips turned into a smile.

"All right, so let me get this straight," Steve spoke out loudly, which gained the other two's attention. Colleen glanced over her shoulder towards Steve, "You kept something you knew was probably dangerous in order to impress a girl who... who you just met?"
