PANDEMONIUM
CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE➝ ECHOES OF MY HEART
COLLEEN WAS STANDING AT THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF HER BEDROOM, the hem of shirt was in between her delicate hands and Billy's hungry eyes were devouring her. She blew out a deep breath, as the hollow feeling in her chest subdued before pulling the shirt over her head and dropping it onto the floor. She stood in front of him, clad in her bra and black jeans. And his eyes kept drifting back over her skin, before taking another step closer towards her.
His rough hands traced up from her wrists up to her shoulders, before cupping her cheeks in between his hands. She stared up at him with a burning look in her dark eyes, and he inched closer to her, closing the space between them with his lips. They moved tenderly against hers in the beginning, but as every second passed — they grew more eager and desperate. Colleen traced her hands down his chest before unbuttoning the rest of his shirt and peeling in from his skin which he quickly threw onto the ground.
His hands found their way back to her, and he gripped the back of her neck in one hand as the other guided them over to her bed. She felt her legs hit the back of the mattress and her breath got caught in her throat as they came to a stop, hovering on top of the bed. Billy pulled away from her for one moment, his blue eyes finding hers in the darkness of her bedroom. The moon was shining in through her curtain, and he pushed a piece of hair behind her ear so he could get a better look at her face. Her lips formed into a smile, as he kept scanning over her features. For the first time in his life — he was breathless, she looked absolutely beautiful.
"You're beautiful," His voice was raspy when he spoke out. And her ears perked up when she heard the words leave his mouth. She inched closer to him, her hands roaming around his chest and onto his shoulders. His hands finding their way down to the back of her legs and he quickly hoisted her up and she wrapped her legs around his hips. His lips finding hers again before pulling back and he had a stern look in his eyes, "What you said earlier... You sure you want to do this?"
She nodded her head and kissed him back again, but when he didn't make another move, she knew he wanted a verbal answer. So she pulled her head away from his by an inch, but their noses were still pressed together. Her nose nudging against his as she nodded her head once again, "Yes, I'm sure."
Once the answer rolled from her tongue, he quickly moved forward, laying her on top of the bed and hovering above her. Pressing kisses on her skin, moving from her lips, to her neck, to her chest, all the way down to her stomach. And Colleen couldn't help but let out a moan, as she felt his fingers fumble to unbutton her jeans. His eyes locked with hers one last time as he slipped her out of her jeans, and her head fell back against the mattress, as her eyes rolled to the back of her head in heavenly release.
___
Colleen stirred in her sleep before finally waking up the next morning, and she shifted her weight on her bed and opened her eyes to find the other side empty. She sat up instantly, pulling the comforter with her to keep herself covered. And her eyes scanned around the room to find that all of Billy's belongings were picked up from the floor, and his shoes were missing from the corner. She exhaled a tight breath before quickly maneuvering out of the bed and gathering her clothing, pulling them on piece by piece as she found them. She picked up her shirt from the ground and tossed it into her hamper before grabbing a sweater from her closet and pulling it over her head.
