Recap
"So, how's school?" Mr. Delmar asked.
"You know it's boring, I've got better things to do." Peter said as I eyed him.
"Stay in school kid, or you'll end up like me." Mr. Delmar chuckled noticing the look I gave him.
"The best sandwiches in Queens." Peter said as I pet Murph for the last time before I joined Peter. We grabbed our sandwiches and waved goodbye before we left and headed to an alleyway so we could get changed. I faced towards the back of the alley while Peter faced towards the street and knocked down some trashcans.
"All good?" I asked.
"Yeah, you?" He said as we faced each other and ran off in different directions.***
We met up before sunset, like usual, to call Happy and tell him what we did that day. Peter apparently helped out an old Dominican lady, and she bought him a Churro, which he gave half to me so we could share it.
"Hey, would you like to come over for dinner tonight? May's been telling me to ask you for a while, so?" He asked me.
"I'd love to. Come on." I smiled as we webbed our way over to his apartment.
Once we got there Peter went in, through the window, first and then I followed. When he shut the door, we silently dropped to the floor and turned to see Ned sitting on Peter's bed with the Death Star in his lap before he drops it and it crashes onto the floor.
"What was that?" May called through the door.
"N- Nothing!" Peter stuttered as he pressed a button on his suit to make it become enlarged before it fell off him.My face burned before I looked away and he tossed me the dress I left here just in case.
"You're Spiderman... and Phoenix." Ned mumbled as May came in.
"That didn't come out well... Tai food? Ned, Kat, do you want Tai?" She asked.
"Ned has something to do." Peter said.
"Oh, ok. Put on some clothes." May cringed before she walked out and Peter pulled a grey sweatshirt over his head.
"Does anyone else know?" Ned asked.
"No, and you can't tell anyone." I rushed.
"I'm going to level with you, I don't think I can keep it a secret." Ned gushed. "Can I try on the suit?"
"No, Ned, you can't tell anyone, or wear the suit." Peter groaned pushing him towards the door.
"Wait, how do you do this and the Stark Internship?" Ned asked again.
"This is the Internship." Peter said.
"We'll tell you more tomorrow." I said as Ned left. "From now on, you look to see who's in your room." I laughed shaking my head at him before we went to the Tai restaurant.***
After we finished, I swung to the small place Tony bought for me so I didn't have to leave Queens and go to another school. I flopped onto my bed as visions of shirtless Peter flashed in my mind. My face grew red as I tried desperately to push those thoughts to the side.
In the end, I have up and snuggled close to Dust, before falling fast asleep.
