"Ready for school?" Peter asked knocking on my bedroom door before he came in.
"Yeah, just let me grab my bag." I grinned as I shouldered my bag and we walked to school.
"Have you heard anything, or... no?" Peter tried.
"If there was something, I doubt dad would tell me anything." I sighed.
"What do you mean?" He asked.
"He's upset that I'm even helping you after school. He doesn't want me to get hurt, and I understand, but hurt is basically my middle name. I get hurt from doing anything, that's just who I am." I rolled my eyes. "You would have more luck, then I do." I said as we walked into the school.***
"Are you with us Mr. Parker?" The teacher asked as he closed his computer.
"Flash?" She asked as he tried to answer her question.
"That is incorrect, Ms. Thompson?" She asked me as I answered her correctly.
"I love a girl with brains, you even have my last name." Flash flirted as I wrinkled my nose.
"Technically, you have my last name, since I'm older then you, also, it's Stark." I sassed as the teacher cleared her throat.
"Would you two like a moment, or may I continue?" She asked.
"Please, continue." I spoke up as Flash grumbled and looked forward. I shook my head as Peter chuckled at my grossed out reaction.***
"Did Liz get a new top?" Peter asked as I looked behind me, to see her putting up another Homecoming sign, before I went back to my book Fever 1793. "We should probably stop starting before it gets weird."
"Too late, you guys are losers." MJ said as I laughed softly still reading my book.
"Then why do you sit with us?" Ned asked.
"Because I don't have any friends." She replied as the bell rang. I placed my book into my bag before Peter, Ned, and I walked over to decathlon practice."What's going on?" A girl asked.
"Peter's not going to the Decathlon with us." Another girl said.
"Seriously?" Liz asked.
"Well if Mr. Stark needs me-." Peter started.
"He's got his daughter, who would probably happily fill in for you." Abraham smirked at me.
"And why's that?" The girl sitting next to him asked.
"Because she's got a crush on him." Abraham exclaimed as my face flushed.
"Peter is my bestfriend, and did you forget that I'm also going with you guys?" I asked.
"Flash, you're in for Peter." Liz sighed.
"At least one of our smart people are going with us." The girl in the back said.
"I'm smart." Flash added.
"That is incorrect." Abraham dinged the bell.
"What did I say about using the bell for comedic purposes?" Mr. Herrington said.***
Once the bell rang, Peter and I hopped the fence and walked to Delmar's for a sandwich and some sour gummy worms.
"Hey Mr. Delmar." Peter said.
"Hey, Mr. Parker, and Ms. Stark, two number 5's right?" He asked.
"Yeah, and can you squish is down flat?" Peter said as the guy in the back nodded.
"How's your aunt?" Mr. Delmar asked.
"She's good." Peter replied.
"Ella es una mujer italiana muy caliente" Mr. Delmar said to the guy in the back as I snorted.
"¿Cómo está tu hija?" Peter grinned as I laughed.
"15 dollars." Mr. Delmar said.
"But it's ten!" Peter whined.
"For that comment, 15." Mr. Delmar said as we both pulled out five dollars for our sandwiches and gummy worms.
"Here's 10." I smiled sweetly before he took it and we went over to pet Murph. He mewed as I stroked his fur.
"So, how's school?" Mr. Delmar asked.
"You know it's boring, I've got better things to do." Peter said as I eyed him.
"Stay in school kid, or you'll end up like me." Mr. Delmar chuckled noticing the look I gave him.
"The best sandwiches in Queens." Peter said as I pet Murph for the last time before I joined Peter.
