Ned's Questions

"You two got bit by a spider? Can it bite me? It probably would have hurt, you know even if it did hurt, I'd still let it bit me. Maybe. How much did it hurt?" Ned asked as we walked to school the next day.
"The spider is dead, Ned." Peter mumbled as we walked up to ruined Delmar's.
"You guys were here?" Ned whispered as we nodded. "You could have died. Do you lay eggs?" He changed the subject quickly as Peter and I shared a look.
"No." I answered bluntly before we continued to walk to school.

Throughout the day, Ned kept asking questions, and it was finally time for gym. Coach showed us a video of Captain America that I paid no attention to.
"Do you know him, too?" Ned asked.
"Yeah, I stole his shield." Peter grinned as they continued to watch.
"I'm pretty sure he's a war criminal now, but it's required by the state. Let's go." Coach blew his whistle and we all got our partners. I was paired up with MJ and she did 'book ups' before she kneeled on my feet and I did my sit ups.
"- totally crushing on Spiderman." Betty cooed at Liz before Ned spoke up.
"Peter knows Spiderman!" He said.
"Yeah, I've met him through the Stark Internship, but I'm not really supposed to talk about it." Peter gritted his teeth.
"You should totally invite him and his girlfriend to Liz's party." Flash said.
"You're having a party?" Peter asked as I rolled my eyes.
"Yeah, I'm having a party tomorrow night." Liz answered as I continued my sit ups.
"You like Peter, don't you?" MJ asked.
"What? No, of course not. He's my bestfriend." I rushed.
"Ok, sure." She laughed as the bell rang.

"Please?" Peter and Ned begged as I glared at them.
"I'm not much of a party person, so no." I shook my head.
"Please, Kat?" Peter begged with his big dark brown eyes.
"Fine! Just stop looking at me like that." I grumbled as they high fived and I walked home.

"You are so whipped." I scolded myself as I walked in the door to put my suit on, before petting my cat goodbye and swinging over to Liz's house. "You owe me big time, Parker." I scoffed before I flipped onto the roof and called Peter.
"I'm here, and you owe me big, Parker." I shook my head.
"Oh, cool, go to the back yard where the music is coming from." He said as I back flipped into the yard in front of everyone.
"Hey, what's up?" I asked.
"Where's Spiderman?" Flash asked.
"He's sick, but he asked me to come for a little bit before I went back to make sure he's ok." I said.
"Are you and Spiderman married?" A girl asked.
"No, he's my be-." I started.
"He's her boyfriend!" A girl shrieked as my hair flamed a little.
"No! He's just my bestfriend." I corrected.
"So you know who he is?" Flash asked.
"He's my bestfriend, of course I do." I rolled my eyes getting fed up.
"Oh! Hey, Ned, Peter. Nice party, but I have to go make sure Spiderman is feeling ok." I said quickly before Peter grabbed my hand and pulled me in for a hug.
"Thank you." He whispered in my ear before I nodded and jumped away.
"Her hair flared again. Does that mean she was blushing?" Liz asked.
"Probably." Betty added. Just before I jumped away a large blue flame thing exploded in the distance, and I called Peter.
"Parker, get your ass over here, we've got some trouble."
"Coming." He said before he hung up and within seconds he was by my side.
"Mask on." I pulled his mask down before we swung over to the explosion and Ned called as one of the guys pointed his gun at a different guy.
"Hey, if you're going to shoot someone, shoot at me." Peter said as he flipped down and so did I.
"Alright." The guy said as he shot at Peter and I melted the bullet to nothing before it hit him.
"Nice try." I said as Peter webbed the gun and ran at him only to be hit by something and fall backwards.
"What the hell was that?" He asked as they all started to drive away. Peter webbed one of the doors and got dragged down the street and into garbage cans and whatnot as I followed behind.
After a bit of running after them we were about to jump onto the van as something snatched us and flew high into the sky before he dropped us. Peter grabbed onto my waist and tried to deploy his parachute, but ended up being entangled by it and dropping into the ocean. I tried to use my powers to burn it, but since we were underwater, it was useless. Thankfully, a few seconds later, Ironman dove down and saved us, bringing us to a park, before we could explain.
"I should have brought you with me." He shook his head at me as I lowered my head in defeat. "Listen, if you come across these weapons again, call Happy." He said as a car engine revved.
"Are you in a car?" I asked.
"You know, it's never too early to start thinking about college, I could pull a few strings. End call." Tony said.
"I don't need to go to college!" Peter tried before FRIDAY said tony was no longer there, and left.
"Peter, don't try to drop out, ok?" I asked as I warmed him up.
"Yeah." He mumbled.
"I mean it, now, let's go see what they dropped." I held out my hand as he took it and we walked over to where we last saw it.
"Glowy thing." He mumbled as I shook my head, and he picked it up before we went home.
