Kat

We latched onto Vulture as he followed the Stark jet and landed on it creating a seal like thing with his wings. We tried to pull it off but it was useless. We crawled up to the door just as he came out and tried to slice our heads off with his wings.
Soon, the plane lost one of it's propellers and was at an alarming decline. Peter and I webbed the side and pulled trying to turn the plane so it wouldn't crash into anything too unfixable. So, we crashed it into the beach, and everything went black.
I gained consciousness not too long after, to find Peter running into the fire. I pulled my mask off and tried to get up only to fall back down. I looked down at the dress that May gave me, just to see it torn up, and the once perfectly white tulle was now black and covered in soot. When I looked up again I saw Peter carrying Liz's dad, the Vulture.
"Are you ok?" I asked stumbling over to him as he dropped Adrian, (Liz's dad) onto the sand. He took me into his arms and we webbed Adrian before we perched ourselves on the top of one of the rides before anyone came.
"Call May and tell her your going to spend the night at my place." I said, taking in his appearance, as he nodded and we swung over to my place.

"You saved me." Peter said to Ned as I walked up to them.
"Hey guys." I smiled brightly.
"Hey Kat." They said as Betty went up to hug Liz.
"I'll be right back." Peter said as he walked up to Liz.
"So, I heard from a little bird that you and Peter kissed." Ned grinned as I pushed his shoulder playfully.
"Are bith the initials of the bird P?" I asked.
"Maybe." Ned carried the word out as Liz walked up to me and hugged me.
"You were better for him anyway." She whispered.
"Thanks. Hey, good luck in Oregon." I said as we parted and she walked away.

"I know I'm a bit ahead of the game, but we are going to need a new team leader for next year and I'm appointing Kat." Mr. Herrington said as everyone started to clap.
"Uh, I've got a lot on my plate at the moment. But, if I may, I think MJ would be a great leader." I said.
"Ok, then our new team leader is going to be Michelle." Mr. Herrington said as everyone clapped again.
"My friends call me MJ." She grinned at me as Peter and I got a text from Happy and we walked to the Boy's bathroom.
"I'm a girl, I can't ho in there." I said as Peter dragged me in.
"To make this short, we're going upstate." Happy said as we walked out and got in his car.
As we were driving upstate, I received a text and my hand flew to my mouth.
"What's wrong?" Peter asked.
"It's my mother, I haven't seen her in years. She wants to meet me." I whispered as Happys eyes widened.
"Don't except, you know what she's like Kat. Don't agree." He warned.
"I know, but what if she's changed?" I asked.
"As much as I know you want to believe that, we both know she hasn't." He shook his head. "You might want to tell Tony." He added as we rolled up to the new Avengers Tower.
"Ah, there you two are." Tony said as he got in between us before he started talking about hybrid puppies and whatnot. "Not my best analogy, I know, but you get what I mean." He continued to tell us what was going to happen and showed us our new upgraded suits.
"Thank you, Mr. Stark, but, we're good." Peter said as I smiled at him and rubbed his shoulder.
"You're good? In what way?" Tony asked.
"Friendly, neighborhood Spiderpeople. Helping the little guy, someone has to." I spoke up.
"You're turning me down? Last chance, yes or no?" Dad asked.
"No." We said in unison.
"Kinda Springsteen, working class vibe here. Ok, well, it was nice working with you Mr. Parker." Dad shook Peter's hand.
"You too, Mr. Stark." Peter nodded.
"Peter, wait in the car, Kat, Tony, we need to talk." Happy said as Peter started to walk away.
"That was a test, right?" He asked.
"Yeah, and you passed." Dad said as Peter walk out of hearing range.
"I told you so." I nudged him as he shrugged.
"Now Kat, tell him who texted you." Happy said.
"Dianna." I mumbled as dad froze up.
"That's not good. I don't think you know she was put in prison years ago for trying to murder her undercover cop boyfriend." Dad said as I went pale.
"She's coming for revenge." Happy said as my phone buzzed again.
