Chapter 4

"Peter please. I just need to be alone." I said. I lowered my head and stared at the ground

"okay then. I hope your okay."

Peters POV
I respected Betty's wishes and left her2 alone. I looked back and watched as she ran back into the school. Tears down her face.

I really liked Betty, just as a person in general. She was a nice, kinda and thoughful person. God, and those eyes. Wow. Just wow.

Before we got here, Veronica and I had come to see if we could settle down here. I met a kid named Ned. We met a couple months ago, and have become good friends. When we first got here, which was even before we started school, I invited Ned to come over. I was juts on duty as Spiderman to scout the area. When I returnes back into my room, Ned had arrived already and seen me as Spiderman. He's the only person who knows about it other than Mr. Stark. I talk to Ned about everything now. I told him about what I thought about Betty. He thinks she's nice. He said they had an English class together, and she sat next to him. He also said everytime he got ot that class, for some reason he would never have a pencil, and Betty would always lend him one.

Ned and I talked at our first class afte lunch. History. It was so boring. Even though Ned had already known about me bimsing Spiderman for a while now, he still sometimes asks weird questions.

Today in history we were watching a film about world War 1 or something.

Ned leans close to my ear.

"Do you lay eggs?!?" he didn't even say it as like a joke or something. He said it like he was actually curious if I layed eggs or not.

"What!?" everyone turned to look at me. "so sorry, sir" I said quickly.

"no I don't lay eggs." I replied in a quieter voice.

Betty's POV
After lunch I had a math class which was quick. Afted that I had gym class. Veronica and I had resolved things. At least that's one less problem to deal with. I still have to deal with the Archie problem and Peter. Well I guess it's not really a problem, he was only trying to help me.

"You don't believe me don't you?" I said.

"look, I want to believe you but you don't have any evidence or proof of this."

"Yes I know, I should have taken a picture or something-

Peters POV
Ned whacked my arm.

"dude! Listen." he whispered.

"let me get this straight." Veronica started, "you're telling me you saw Spiderman on Archie's roof last night."

"Peter knows Spiderman." Ned said suddenly.

Everyone turned to look at me.

"Uhhhhh.......I mean I've met him before. One time. Through the uhhhh......the Stark Internship that I have with....Mr.Stark, who's also tony stark, who owns the Stark company, which i work at, because I have a Stark Internship, so I've met Spider-Man one time, through the Stark internship, with Mr. Stark , and I've already said that. You know what forget about it." Most of the people turned away. Betty walked up to me.

"What is he like?" She asked.

"Well, he's pretty cool. He's can shoot webs and it's so cool. I watched him jump out the window to fight some bad guys." I said.

Betty's POV
After school, I texted my mom.

[hey mom, I'm gonna be staying for like 30 min]

[ok. That's fine]

I walked down the hall.

"Hi, are you Jughead?" I peeked inside of a small room.

There were old computers and a lot of stuff was covered. It was dusty and dark.

"Yes. This is my friend Lori. We write the school news paper which is the blue and gold." Jughead explained. He wore a gray crown beanie.

"So you write a story about Jason blossom right?" I questioned.

"Yes I do."

"Can you write a story about Spider-Man? I heard he's in town."

"Why don't you just join our little group?" Jughead asked.

"Oh I guess I'll do that then. Unfortunately, I actually have to go so I'll see you guys later. Oh right and..." I grabbed a sticky note and wrote my phone number. "If you guys need me for anything here is my number."
