Chapter 10

"Did you here me?! I said GET OUT OF MY HEAD!"

I kept screaming. "GET OUT OF MY HEAD!"

Starks POV

Steve came in, holding my daughter. My eyes widened. 

"That's Enough!!" He yelled to everyone. "I don't know who she is, but she's important to Tony. We need to get to Siberia. We don't wanna hurt her." 

I need to stop them, but I can't tell them. I won't. 

Cap continued, "but I will if you don't let me past."

I looked at Betty. She shook her head. I could see in her eyes, she didn't want me to save her. 

I was thinking. I didn't know what to do. 

"You're bluffing. You wouldn't hurt a civilian." I finally said. I decided not to tell them. I couldn't tell them. 

"Well I'm desperate." Steve said. 

"No, please." She whispered. 

"Sorry, kid." He turned and nodded at Wanda. 

I was about to save her. 

"You come any closer, and she dies." Steve said.

I stopped. Wanda used her magic and did the thing I had feared she would do. She showed Betty her worst fear. 

It had happened to me. I had seen horrible things. 

I watched the pain in my daughter's eyes. I could see tears running down her face. She slowly sat down and buried her head in her knees.

I was still frozen in place. I couldn't let her die. 

Over and over, she kept saying, "get out of my head get out of my head."

Her eyes became cloudy as she stood up and started screaming. 

"Stop, stop, Wanda stopped." I begged. 

Wanda looked at me. I could tell she was seeing all of it. It was hurting her. 

"She'll stop if you let us pass." Steve replied. 

I stared at Rogers and was about to let them go, but I heard someone screech. 

I turned my attention back at Wanda. She screamed and her hands flew to her head. 

I rushed to grab Betty, but I was blinded my a bright blue light. 

The other half of the Avengers were sent soaring into the sky. Wanda used her magic to save them from hitting the ground too hard. 

My little girl fell to the ground, I flew over and saved her from falling. 

Betty's POV

By now I was screaming. I just kept screaming. 

The horrifying scene of my friends and family faded, and I felt a rush of energy flow through my whole body. 

Suddenly, the energy burst from me. I fell to the ground, but I felt someone catch me. 

Then everything went dark.
