I woke up in my own bed, back in Riverdale. I felt a searing pain in my arm. There were tubes attached to it and my dad was there taking notes.

There were fresh flowers on my bedside table. I looked out the window. Snow. Falling gracefully, like nothing was wrong in the world.

I turned back.

“Dad?” I said quietly. I couldn’t quite get the words to come out. “What are you doing here?”

He looked up, startled.

“Your awake.”

“Ummm….yeah? What’s going on?” I asked.

A plate dropped. I turned to see what it was. Alice was standing at the door, a plate shattered on the ground with a sandwich.

“Elizabeth?! Oh my god, you’re okay!” She ran over and hugged me. I embraced her, but I was still confused.

She let go of suddenly, “Oh, I have to call your sister, Hal, Archie, Veronica, Jughead and Peter.”

She started to leave the room before I stopped her.

“Can someone please tell me what’s going on?!” I yelled.

Tony nodded at Alice and she left to call everyone.

“Liz, you’ve been in a coma for the past 3 months.” Dad said.

“WHAT?!” I sat straight up. “What happened?”

“You threw yourself out of that window, when I was fighting Cap. You were falling really, really fast. When I caught you, your head ended up flinging really hard. Whatever your powers were, it sent a flow of energy throughout your body, causing you to be stuck in a coma. We didn’t want people to think you were missing, so we brought you back here.” He explained.

“Wait, what about everyone else? What did they think about you being here? Also, where’s mom?”

“I told everyone that I heard that you have powers, but you were in a coma, so I am here to “study” you. And, you mother is usually here, except she had some business to attend to.”

I heard more footsteps rush in. Archie. He was at the door way, out of breath.

“Betty!” Archie rushed over to me. “Veronica and Peter are on their way. I can't get a hold of Jughead though.”

“I’ll leave you two to catch up.” Dad got up and left the room.

“Thank goodness you’re okay!” Archie and I hugged.

We waited for the rest of the group to arrive. Archie caught me up on everything that I had missed. Apparently, they found Polly. Veronica has been kind enough to let her stay at her house, after Cheryl told her that she shouldn’t stay with the Blossom’s. She had been planning a baby shower, but they didn’t want to do it without me, so they have been waiting for me to wake up. I missed Jughead’s birthday, but he didn’t do anything because I wasn’t there to celebrate it. Also, Spider-Man was more popular now. Aside from that, there was one month where it was just normal. At least my friends had a time to just be normal teens for once. Homecoming was in a couple of days though.

I sighed. I wished that I had been here for all of it.

“Alright, well I’m going to go right back to school, because I feel fine. I going to help plan Homecoming and try to handle everything as normal as possible.”

“Betty Cooper, always handling everything with grace. You can take a moment to rest you know?” He said.

“I’ve already rested, Archie. For three months.” I lay back in bed.

“Betty?” I hear from down the hall. I turn to face the door. Veronica and Peter come in.

“V.” I say.

“B! Thank god you’re okay!” Veronica squeezed me tightly. Peter stood behind her awkwardly.

“Hey, Peter. I’m okay.” I stared at him and smiled. He nodded and returned the smile.

“Where’s Jughead?” I questioned.

“We haven’t been able to get a hold of him. He hasn’t been in a good place since Mr. Stark brought you back.” Veronica said as she shook her head.

“Oh, Jug.” I muttered.

“Alright, I’m getting up.” I hopped off my bed and stood up. “Da- Uh Tony can you please get these tubes out of my arm!”

Dad came rushing back in.

“Yeah, just give me a second. Can I have a moment?” He asked.

Everyone else in the room nodded and turned to leave.

“We’ll wait downstairs.” Archie said.

Peter‘ s POV

I was really worried about Betty. I know that we haven't known each other for long, but u felt a connection between us.

I was a little confused why Mr. Stark was here, but his reason seemed to make sense. I'm so glad Betty finally woke up.

"PETER! Hello?!"

I looked up.

"S-sorry. What?" I replied.

"You okay?" Veronica asked.

"Yea, sorry. Just thinking."

"About?"

"Nothing." I answered.

"What? You just said you were thinking, so you had to be thinking about something." Archie chimed in.

"Just ...umm…. Where is Jughead?" I said, changing the subject.

Veronica eyed me warily, but continued on to the new subject.

"We can't find him. Last I remember, he was still working on the Jason Blossom case. I think he went out into the woods or something."

A/N

Bit of a shorter chapter I'm working on how I'm going to continue the story, but I can't get any good ideas because I like the plot that Betty kinda works to solve problems.
