Chapter 6

Hiya guys! I know I said I would post Friday but I totally forgot! 😂 so here is chapter 6! I hope you guys enjoy

I woke up the next morning to find Shane had already left, oh well maybe he left before my dad saw him.
I quickly got out of the car and walked over to the group, there setting up for the search party.
"Why does she get to have a gun?" Andrea points at me.
"Well she's had gun training" Shane says making my eyes wide as my mom heard this.
"She's what? How come I never knew this??" She asks
"Well it was a spur of the moment when Shane, Harp and I all went on that weekend camping trip." Dad states. My mom just huffs and walks over to carol.
Oops.
•Later •
Dad put Daryl and I up front since Daryl has taught me some tracking, I keep looking behind me my mom keeps getting into a heated argument with Shane and I don't like it.
We finally come across this tent and call carol up to call out for Sophia. Then we hear church bells, we all start running. We eventually got there and found out it's got no steeple.
I was gonna go walk over to Shane but moms talking to him which spike up my jealousy so I walk over to Glenn.
"Hey Harper, you doing ok ?"
"Yeah, I just want to find Sophia."
"Yeah we all do, we will though don't worry" Glenn says giving me a hug.
"Shane and I are gonna go this way and keep looking you guys go ahead and make your way back to the highway." My dad states.
"I wanna go, she's my friend too" Carl says which just breaks my heart.
"I'll go to then, to protect all of ye'r asses"
"Atta Girl, speakin' like me now" says Daryl.
I giggle a little bit and look up at Shane seeing pure anger and jealousy in his eyes. I quickly look down.
We finally got to walking away from the rest of the group and kept searching. Until we came across a deer. Shane and I were both gonna shoot it until my dad said 'no' and pointed to Carl. That's when a gunshot rung out and my baby brother fell to the ground. We all screamed no. And run to him this bigger guy came running out telling us to go to this farm and find Hershel. Dad picked Carl up and ran, while I ran next to Shane and Otis.
"Hey hey it's gonna be ok alright ?" Shane said out of breathe looking at me.
"Yeah." I said tearfully.
We eventually got to the house and Hershel got to work quickly with his daughters Maggie and Beth, and there family friend Patricia which is Otis's wife.
After a while Hershel finally said that he doesn't have the right equipment for the surgery which now leads to Otis, Shane and I going to the high school. I'm squished in between both men in this damn tiny truck. Should have rode in the back. I had to put up a huge fight to come here but in the end they all caved.

Shane, Otis and I started running low on ammo and getting more surrounded, Shane told me to run and run as fast as I can, so I did, once I made it far enough I turned around to see him shoot Otis and rip his backpack off. Shane made it to me and saw that I saw what he did. We got into the car and silence fell upon us. I honestly don't know what to say Shane,
He just killed a man, but he saved us and my brothers life. Once we got to the farm Shane turned to me and looked me dead in the eyes.
"Harper we can't tell anyone what happened tonight. Ok?"
"O-ok, but why?" I asked shakily.
"I had to save u and Carl. We tell them walkers got him ok?"
"Alright, we do what we gotta do in this world now I guess" I said nodded my head.
"Atta Girl" Shane said giving me a quick kiss on the forehead.
"Daddy!" I yelled sobbing into his shirt.
Hershel came out asking for Otis which made me cry more, after almost dying tonight, having to lie about a man dying it's just all to much. We walked into the house and the girl Maggie from earlier gave Shane and I some fresh clothes and told us we can use the shower. As I was following Shane up the stairs I saw a he was missing some hair.
"Shit" I said
"What? You ok?"
"Yeah, but I got to shave your cute curls off now"
""Oh right, yeah" Shane said rubbing his hair.
We got to the bathroom and found the shaver I started to shave Shane's head which was very sad, cuz I loved his hair. After I was finished Shane stood up and kissed me, which I kissed back, the kiss then turned to a hungry kiss, both eager to hold and kiss eachother. His hands started to wonder down my body and my hands reached around his neck.
Our clothes started coming off as we both grew hungrier for eachother,
"H-Harper, are sure you want this?"
"Yes" I said shakily out of breath.
And I'm sure you guys all know where this led to.

And that's that.
Will this bring Harper and Shane closer?
Or will thing bring them apart?
Or they gonna last?
What is Lori fighting Shane about ?
Does she know?
Will rick ever find out about his bestfriend and daughter ?
