Jesus fuck it is cold. We flew all the way here. This is not my suit and I do not like it. I didn't design it, I'm not saying I don't trust dad's design but, it's not my own. This was one of the few things I had my own and he improved it. I should be thankful it is upgraded after all yeah? Safer, better, more flexible, tougher and such but it's not. I didn't make it so it is not my suit.
"Oh by the way, there's a heater in your suit," dad randomly mentions, after I've been shaking for minutes.
"Thanks," I hiss. "N/n, turn on heater please," I mumble and instantly feel warmth seep through my body. "Spandex isn't extremely comfortable in the snow," I grumble. Not my suit.
Time skip
Stumbling upon another cavern dad looks down at his wrist. "This must be it," he mumbles, almost incomprehensibly. How does he know? They all look the same.
I lept to the top of the rock without a word- almost missing the ledge due to the stiffness in my joints.
Climbing over it I'm lead to an opened, double-down entrance.
Footprints, they're almost covered but the slightest of indent is shown and I know it has to be theirs.
"This way," I hiss, beckoning dad towards the door. Led to a caged elevator we go slowly downwards as dad scans the building. "Well, we've never been a pair for easy entrances eh?" I chuckle lightly in a reply, beginning to bounce on the balls of my feet in anxiousness. I miss him.
Dad finds a doorway, prying it open rather loudly it reveals Steve with his shield hoisted infront of him and Bucky, who had his gun raised pointed at the door. I was still behind dad still and he shook his shoulders out lightly. "You seem a little defensive," he took a step forward to reveal me, "I brought a peace offering," he tried to joke. I broke into a sprint shoving past Steve. "God that sounded bad. Ignore it."
He mumbled some reply that was muffled as I wrapped myself around Bucky, his gun resting on my should for a moment before he let it drop to his side and he hugged me back. "I missed you, are you okay? What did they do? Did they hurt you?" He mumbled, holding me away slightly to look me over.
"I got myself hurt enough for them while I was there I guess. I think something happened to Sam."
"At ease soldier, I'm not here for you," Dad calls to Steve, who is still holding his shield in a protective way.
"Then why are you here?" He questions.
"Maybe your story's not so crazy," he pauses, "maybe."
"Ross has no idea we're here and I'd like to keep it that way, otherwise I'd have to arrest myself," he said nonchalantly.
"Sounds like a lot of paperwork," dad laughs slightly, "It's good to see you Tony."
"You too cap."
Dad scoffs, "Manchurain candidate you're killing me, there's a truce here you can drop it," I look beside me to see Bucky holding his gun at attention. He holds it till Steve waves his hand and when he drops it I shove him, which results in a groan from me.
We walk through the building now, as a team, everyones attention high though I'm slightly dizzy.
We walked for a while, just watching. Watching and scanning before a chill runs up my spine and my hair stands on end. "Someone is here with us," I state almost immediately. "Hold on a second," I mumble.
