I texted Peter and he said he could come by after school if I wanted him too. I was sitting in one of the chairs in Pietro's room with everything pulled together making me as small as I could get without bunching up.

It was just Wanda, Dad, Clint, Bruce, and I in the room now. I wasn't much help but really there wasn't much I could do at this point. Clint needed to leave soon and pick up his own kids from school since Laura can't and Dad just cancelled a conference so be could be here but Pepper is filling in for him instead. Peter is coming by in a little less than two hours.

Pietro could be dying and I'm just sitting here. God I can't stand just sitting here not doing anything. I've gotta get out of here. "I'm going for a run," I said standing up abruptly. Everyone's head turned at my quick movements.

"Okay kiddo take Bucky with you okay?" Dad asked but I don't think it was much of a question.

"Why?" I ask, my head tilting lightly. At this point I'm stronger than Bucky and since when do I need a bodyguard?

"(Y/n)," Bruce looked at you through his glasses fully knowing the signs of a panic attack. Dad noticed them sometimes but he knew what it meant when I went on a run out of the blue.

"Please, I swear I'll be fine and I'll call someone if something happens," I whine slightly.

"No. Please just have Bucky come with you this time," Dad answered, his voice stern.

"Fine," I grumble knowing its futile to try and argue with Dad.

I grabbed my phone off its charger and left. Jogging up the stairs I pull my phone back out of my pocket to text Bucky.

(Y/n): Buckyyyyyy

I stood beside one of the windows waiting for him to answer. He takes too long to answer ugh. After about two minutes my phone buzzed.

Bucky: One day, why can't I have one day that's peaceful?

Y: I'm offended

Y: But dad said I couldnt go on a run without you will you pleaaaaaaase come meet me at the main entrance?

B: Ugh fine, I'll be there in five minutes.

Y: Wait nevermind I need to change to run lol

B : I hate you.

Y: just give me like 5 min. I'll get up there

I didn't wait for an answer after that. Continuing my half jog up the stairs until I got to the main floor where I could take the normal elavator up.

Quickly the elavator reached my floor and Bucky was sitting on the couch waiting for me. "Should I leave my arm on doll?" He asked me as I walked behind him towards my room.

"Yeah it makes you look awesome, old man," I laughed at myself muttering the last part just loud enough for him to hear.

"Hey I thought they taught you to respect your elders!" He shouted trying not to laugh but a smile breaking through on his lips.

"Dont worry I do, I save all my old people jokes just for you I promise," I shouted before closing the door. Changing into the same athletic tights as yesterday and put on a shirt a size too big but it's comfy.

"Hurry up (Y/n) you're so slow," Bucky complained loudly as I stepped out of my room.

"I hate you. Let's go," I said grabbing his wrist to pull him with me.
