Rachels P.O.V
"You kissed him!?" Jack yelled.
"Shhhh, you're so loud" I shushed him.
"I can't believe you kissed him!" I hugged me.
"I so told you, you liked him" I smirked.
"Oh shut up" I laughed.
He laughed back.
"I'm gonna go home for awhile" He stood up.
"Okay. Byyyeeeee" I hugged him.
"Byyyeeeee" He walked out the door.
"Now what to do?" I asked myself.
I pulled out my phone and went to Jonah's contact
Me: Hey
Jonah😩💓: Hey gorgeous
Me: I'm like so bored
Jonah😩💓: Same
Me: Wanna come over?
Jonah😩💓: Yeah, for sure
Me: Okay, see you soon :)
Jonah😩💓: Cya princess
I blushed at his nickname for me.
After some time I heard a knock at my door, I jumped up and went to the door. I opened the door not looking at the person there.
"Hey Jonah" I called as I went to the couch.
"Who the hell is Jonah?" I heard.
I whipped my head around.
"M-mum? D-dad?" I held back tears.
I grabbed my phone and ran up the stairs I ran into the bathroom and locked the door.
Me: Jonah. Please hurry.
"Open the door Rachel!" My dad yelled.
"Go away!!" I cried.
"We're not leaving anytime soon" My mum laughed.
I dialed the police into my phone.
"Hello, What's your emergency" The operator said.
"Please help me. My parents are back, they're going to hurt me" I cried softly so my parents wont hear.
"Where do you live Ma'am?" She asked.
"-Address-" I said.
"We will have the police with you right away. Just stay calm. Where are you hiding?" She asked.
"I'm in my bathroom they are right out side the door." I cried harder.
"Rachel Marie Seg! Get out here right now. If you don't your beating will be worse you little slut" My dad yelled louder, more tears streamed down my face.
"HEY. GET AWAY FROM HER!" Jonah yelled.
"Jonah" I whispered.
"Who is Jonah?" The lady asked.
"My almost boyfriend. He was gonna come over to hang out but they showed up. I texted him to hurry before I called you" I explained.
"The police are almost there. Stay calm Ma'am, everything will be okay" She said.
I heard a scream, from my mum.
"You little shit! I'll kill you!" My dad yelled at Jonah.
"JONAH" I cried out.
"It's okay gorgeous. I will take care of it" He yelled back.
"Just stay in there, okay?" He yelled again.
"Okay. I promise" I cried louder.
After some time I heard sirens.
"They're here" I said to the operator.
"They will come to you, stay there" She said.
"What about Jonah?" I cried.
"We will make sure he is okay" She said.
"Hello? This is the police. Open up please" They knocked on the door.
I stood up and opened the door for them.
"It's okay Ma'am. Your parents are going away for a long time" They lead me to my bed.
I sat down and I wrapped my blanket around myself.
"Where is Jonah?" I asked them.
"I will go get him" One of them said.
He came back in with Jonah and he rushed to my side and he held me tight like it was the last time he would hold me. I started crying again.
'Hey hey hey. It's gonna be okay" He stroked my hair.
I borrowed my head into his chest more and let the tears go.
"We are gonna give you some time" They left the room.
"Look at me" Jonah pushed my chin up.
He leaned in and softly kissed me, I want nothing more then to be in his arms forever.
Once we pulled away one of the police men knocked on the door.
"Hey guys, you can come out now. They're cuffed and sustained." He explained.
"Thank you" I said.
We got up and walked down stairs.
"Can I talk to them alone?" I asked.
"We are going to have to let one officer stay, to keep you safe" He explained.
I just nodded my head and everyone left apart from one officer.
"Well it looks like after all these years. You finally get put into the big house" I smiled at them.
"I will get you" My dad jerked in the cuffs.
"I highly doubt that. You made my life a living hell, hurting me everyday, calling me horrible names. Now you finally get to feel what I felt" I slapped them both in the face.
"How does it feel to be the one that's getting hurt?" I scowled at them.
"Screw you!" My mum screamed.
"No. Screw you" I smiled at them.
"Bye" I waved at them.
My dad tried to get free of the cuffs but the officer held him back.
"One day Rachel. One day!" My dad screamed.
I walked off to find Jonah.
"Let's go out" I smiled at Jonah.
He grabbed my hand and we walked past my parents again. We walked out the front door and went to Jonah's car.
"Where do you want to go?" Jonah asked me.
"Let's just drive around and listen to music" I replied.
"Anything you want to do" He smiled at me.
We drove around in perfect silence just listening to music. Until Jonah broke it.
"Do you wanna talk about it?" He asked.
"No" I sighed.
"Yes" I whispered.
"I'm here for you princess" He grabbed my hand.
"They abandoned me 4 fours ago and I've been alone ever since. They abused me daily, called me nasty names. Sent people to become my friend and when the time was right get them to hurt me as well" I let a single tear roll down my cheek.
Jonah pulled into a McDonalds parking lot and looked at me, he wiped the tear away and smiled at me.
"You are so beautiful, even when you cry. I want my life to have you in it. Forever" He smiled.
I smiled at him and kissed him, this time it was a hungry kiss. I wanted more of him.
"Love me" I whispered.
"Forever" He whispered back.
