(January, 2016 - Sportfest)
Dear Diary, I was so pumped up for this school year's annual sportsfest. I was a bit nervous for I had 3 games to attend to. First game is the obstacle relay, the next game is Chess, and Last one is Basketball.
The sportsfest is only a 2- day event. There are 4 teams which are Yellow Tigers, Blue Phoenix, Red Dragons, and Green Vipers. I belong to the Yellow team.
We cheered and thrown our hats off every time our team scores.
My smile turned into a frown when they said that the chess games was about to start.
It was my 3rd year playing chess. I only used to get to 1st place but never a champ. I always looked down on myself and thought that I will never win the prize.
A few moments after. I saw my classmate "the all time champ". I never beated her in chess. There were moments that I was screaming internally that " I would surely lose this game, I am such disgrace to the team"
