Naruto: the Crimson-eyed Flash

Chapter 1: Shisui Uchiha

At three years old, a boy with sunshine blonde hair, and azure eyes has just been tortured in the middle of an alley. Who is this boy? Well, the boy's name is Naruto Uzumaki. He is the Jinchuuriki of the Kyuubi. Unknown to only a select few he is the son of the Yondaime Minato Namikaze, and Kushina Uzumaki, the previous Jinchuuriki of the Kyuubi.

As Naruto is passed out, he wakes up in his mindscape. Which looks like a sewer. It has pipes, and even water. Naruto thinks out loud, saying, "Great, they left to die in the sewers again."

Wanting to get out of the sewer, Naruto decides to walk, and find the exit. After what seemed like hours, he found a cage. Naruto thought, "How could a cage this huge fit in Konoha's sewer system."

Naruto knows Konoha, and it's sewer system like the back of his hand. He knew that it must be the Kyuubi. In fact Naruto is not as dumb as the civilain's think he is. Naruto is so stealthy that he could only be found by a highly skilled sensor-type Shinobi, or if somehow he accidentally ran into somebody.

Naruto walks up to the cage to find a beautiful woman with crimson hair, slitted crimson eyes, and nine crimson tails. He noticed that she is crying. Naruto asks, "Why are you crying?"

The woman says, "I'm the Kyuubi. You must know how I "attacked" the village. You should hate me."

Naruto asks, "Did you attack the village?"

The Kyuubi says, "I was ripped out of you Kaa-chan, and placed under a Genjutsu. I didn't want to attack the village. I liked being with your Kaa-chan. When I was freed from the Genjutsu by the Yondaime, I asked the Yondaime to be sealed into. I promised both of them that I'd protect you, but all I can do is heal your wounds."

Naruto then says, "If you were forced to attack Konoha, then why should I hate you? If anything I consider you my best friend. SInce you're the only one that doesn't hate me."

The Kyuubi then gets up, and hugs the boy. She says, "My name is Kurami. Knowing the name of a tailed-beast is a great honor. An honor that I'm bestoying onto you. Don't tell anyone, unless I tell you."

Naruto nods, and asks, "Is their a cool Jutsu that lets you out of the seal?"

Kurami says, "Yes their is. Why?"

Naruto asks, "You know how the Inuzuka has the ninkens?"

Kurami says, "I get it. You would like for me to fight with you, as a small fox. Well for me to be able to do that, you'll have to rip that paper with the kanji for "Seal" off. Which will also give you an ability to sense negative emotions. Whether you use my chakra, or not."

So Naruto does exactly that, but before they could do the Jutsu, Kurami says, "You should wake up. A man is trying to wake you."

With that Naruto slowly fades from his mindscape with a fox-like grin on his face. When Naruto opened his eyes again, he sees a man with short, unkempt, dark-coloured hair, black eyes and a relatively broad nose and well-defined eyelashes, that were turned upwards at each end. The man is wearing a high-collared, dark-coloured outfit along with a strapped to the right side of the back of his shoulder. He also wore what appeared to be a harness for his tantō which ran across his chest and fastened over both his shoulders.

Naruto slightly flinches, as the man walks closer to him. Shinobi was not a good thing to the blonde boy. Noticing this, the man says, "I'm Shisui Uchiha, and I am here to help you. I won't hurt you."

Naruto asks, "Promise?"

Shisui nods, "I promise. I'll even help train you to be a really strong ninja."

Naruto gains stars in his eyes, and asks, "You'll make me into a strong ninja like Jiji?"

Shisui asks, "Jiji?"

Naruto says, "Yeah, Jiji? I'm going to take his hat one day, and be the best Hokage ever. Even surpassing my idol Yondaime-sama."

Shisui says, "That's a hefty goal there. Are you ready for it?"

Naruto nods, as he says, "I'm ready, Dattebayo!" he then claps his hands over his mouth.Shisui then asks, "How about I get you some new clothes, and after we can start training?"

After some shopping Naruto is now wearing a black tracksuit that had a red fire symbol on the left breast, with an orange Uzumaki swirl on his back, and orange stripes down the sleeves, and pants. With the pockets also having an orange stripe at the opening.

Naruto's stomach then growls, as Shisui chuckles, he asks, "How about we get some food. What do you want?"

Naruto yells, "RAMEN!"

The Sandaime says, "I'll pay for the ramen. Since Shisui here paid for the clothes."

When they got to Ichiraku's, Naruto says, "Give me the usual Old Man!"

Teuchi, aka Old Man says, "Who are you calling Old Man... Oh, hey Naruto, Sandaime-sama. Who is this person?"

Naruto says, "This is Shisui-nii. He bought me knew clothes, and even said that he'd buy me ramen, but Jiji said he go broke. So he offered to go broke instead. Shisui-nii even said that he's train me to take Jiji's hat."

The Sandaime asks, "Did he?"

Shisui says, "I did Hokage-sama. I was going to ask you, but..."

The Sandaime says, "I accept. I would have even agreed if you asked to adopt him as a brother."

Shisui asks, "Are you sure about that? I mean, you know that the Sharingan can control Bijus. Plus what about the Council?"

The Sandaime says, "I know that. I also know the only recorded person to control one of the Biju with their Sharingan was Madara Uchiha, and he is long dead. I'm the Hokage, it's time I start acting like one. After training, both of you come to my office, Okay?"

Naruto says, "Okay, Jiji. We'll come."

The Sandaime then pays for the ramen, as Shisui, and Naruto leave to go to a training ground.

When the two get to the training ground, Shisui teaches Naruto Shurikenjutsu. Shisui even taught Naruto the sleight-of-hand kunai trick, well the basics of it. Two hours later they finished, and left to go to the Hokage's office.

Shisui knocked on the door. They heard the Sandaime reply, "Come in." So that is what they did.

The Sandaime says, "Here are the adoption papers. Sign them, and you'll be able to take care of Naruto."

And guess what happens? Shisui signs the papers right in front of the Sandaime saying, "I'd prefer to adopt him as my Otōto."

The Hokage says, "That is doable. You can go. Also Naruto's stipend will go to you for clothes, food, and training supplies." The Sandaime then accept it right then, and there.
