Chapter 8: the True Genin Exams

Team 8 is standing with their Sensei Kurenai, in Training Ground 8. Kurenai says, "In order to pass all you have to do is find me. Also Naruto whatever that Fuinjutsu was that you put on me. How do you get it off?"

Naruto shrugs, and says, "I haven't found a way to get it off a person, but it's a very useful seal. Just pour your chakra into it, and I'll be there in a flash to help."

Kurenai smiles in thanks, and melts away. Naruto asks, "Shino did you place your insects on Sensei?"

Shino says, "Yes I did. Why? Because, I thought it would be useful to do so."

Naruto says, then let's follow."

So the three Genin follow the insect's scent, until they reached a park, and they see Kurenai. She says, "Shino when you find me your insects are being taken care of at my home." Kurenai then melts away, again.

Naruto asks, "Hinata can you see where she went?"

Hinata with her Byakugan already activated, says, "I think I can, follow me."

So that is what Naruto, and Shino do. Well until they see an ANBU with a Hebi, or snake mask on. Naruto asks, "Hebi-nee, what are you doing here?"

Hinata asks, "Hebi-nee? Is she your sister?"

Naruto shakes his head, and replies, "No, she was one of the ANBU that used to protect me from mobs, and when the "Fox Hunts" happened. Which happened every year on October 10th, my birthday."

Hebi says, "Sorry you had to go through that, bud. Also my best friend Kurenai said that she needed help testing her Genin Team, and guess what?"

Shino says, "You accepted her offer."

Hebi nods, saying, "Yes I did, and she told me to not let you get passed me. So good luck. You'll need it."

Naruto just throws his tri-pronged kunai passed Hebi. In a Crimson Flash, Naruto disappears, and reappears behind her. He says, "Well I guess you failed your objective Hebi-nee."

Hebi says, "That's not what Kurenai-chan meant, Naruto-kun, and you know it."

Naruto asks, "Hinata, Shino I know this isn't Sensei, but can you two still do what we planned?"

The two nod, as Shino send a swarm of insects after the ANBU. While Hinata gets in close, as she attempts to hit Hebi with a flurry of Jyuken Strikes. Though Hebi says, "Sen'ei Jashu." Hebi summons snakes from under her arm guards capturing Hinata. The ANBU then has to jump away, as a swarm of insects appear where she was just standing.

Hinata says, "Jūkenhō Ichigekishin." Expelling her chakra from all of her tenketsu, Hinata is now free from the snakes, and this time she hits the ANBU in the tenketsu in the shoulder.

This goes on for a while, as Naruto is watching with his Sharingan activated. Naruto throws multiple tri-pronged kunai passed Hebi, and say, "Hiraishingiri." The blonde, now holding his Orange Maelstrom in a reverse-grip, teleports in a Crimson Flash, slashing Hebi deep, from the shoulder to the waist. Making her fall to the ground.

She looks up, and stares into Naruto's eyes. A couple seconds later, he says, "Kurenai is at her apartment. Hinata do you know where she lives?"

Hinata nods, as Shino asks, "Why do you know where Kurenai-sensei lives?"

Hinata eeps a little, as she says, "She'd often look after me whenever Tou-sama kicked out of the compound."

Naruto says, "Shino you shouldn't have brought up bad memories."

Hinata says, "It's fine Naruto-kun, Shino-kun didn't know."

Shino says, "I am Sorry, Hinata."

Hinata says, "It's fine Shino-kun. Let's go, and pass this test."

Naruto then asks, "What about Hebi-nee?"

Shino replies, "Hiraishin her to the Hospital."

Naruto just facepalms, as he does exactly that, and in a flash he is back with the rest of Team 8, who is running to their Sensei's apartment. When there Naruto places his Hiraishin formula on the door handle, and opens to door. Kurenai asks, "So Naruto, why did you put a seal on your Sensei? Also is my friend ok?"

Naruto says, "It's a S-Rank Space-time Ninjutsu, called the Flying Raijin, Flying Thunder God, or Hiraishin no Jutsu. Whatever you want to call it, it's the Jutsu that made the Yondaime so fast, and what earned him the nickname of: Konoha's Yellow Flash. Also most of the seven years of the Fuinjutsu I learned was just to do this single Jutsu, and all of the Jutsu based off of the Flying Raijin. Hebi-nee is okay. She is at the hospital as we speak."

Kurenai asks, "That's good... Wait, what... So you know a S-Rank Jutsu used by the Yondaime, what else do you know, because we definitely you can't do the standard Bunshin no Jutsu?"

Naruto says, "I'm the only, and third Summoner of the Kasaru(Crow) Clan in Konoha. I've also mastered the Shunshin no Jutsu just like Shisui-nii had. I don't know my Elemental Affinity. All though, I'm able to do Raiton (Lightning), Katon (Fire), Futon (WInd), and Suiton (Water)."

Kurenai asks, "How are you the only one, and the third one?"

Naruto says, "Itachi is a missing-nin. Shisui-nii is dead. And I'm the only one living in Konoha. The Kasaru Clan are also the holders of my original azure blue eyes. Though I mainly use them as a Genjutsu/Bunshin to get away from attacks."

Kurenai says, "You know you should probably be a Jounin by know. So let me get this straight. You can use four different types of elemental chakra, but don't know what your Elemental Affinity is?"

Naruto nods, saying, "I spent a lot of my younger years learning Fuinjutsu, Kenjutsu, an assortment of Bunshinjutsu, and the Shunshin no Jutsu. I wasn't really focused on Ninjutsu. I only picked up what Sasuke learned from Kakashi-nii. Sasuke prefered learning Kenjutsu, and Ninjutsu."

Kurenai just shakes her head, and says, "I'm going to tell the Hokage that Team 8 passed. Also Naruto you will help me train the other two. Got it?"

Naruto replies, "Got it Sensei."

Kurenai then disappears in a puff of smoke, signaling the use of a Shunshin
