Chapter 7: Team Placement

It's been a week since Graduation. Everyone that passed is sitting in the classroom, waiting for Iruka to come, and tell who is on who's team.

Iruka comes in shortly after everyone has entered the classroom. He tells his boring speech about Shinobi life, which makes everyone zone out. That is until Iruka says, "Team 7 consists of Kiba Inuzuka, Sakura Haruno, and Sasuke Uchiha. Your Jounin-sensei is Kakashi Hatake. Team 8 consists of Naruto Uzumaki, Hinata Hyuga, and Shino Aburame. Your Jounin-Sensei is Kurenai Yuhi. Team 9 is still in commision, so we'll skip to Team 10. Team 10 consists of Ino Yamanaka, Shikamaru Nara, and Choji Akimichi. Your Jounin-sensei is Asuma Sarutobi. They should be here after your lunch break."

After the lunch break, Asuma, and Kurenai come into the classroom together. Asuma says, "Team 10 with me."

Kurenai trying to still hide her anger says, "Team 8 your guys are with me."

As Team 8 follows Kurenai out of the Academy, Naruto asks, "Kurenai-sensei, why the hate? I know it's not the Kyuubi, so why?"

Kurenai answers, "I just didn't want you on my team. This is a tracking team. You're not a tracker."

Naruto says, "That is where you are wrong. I'm a Sensor-type Shinobi. I can sense negative emotions. I also have the Sharingan. Which I got from Shisui-nii."

Kurenai is shocked. She asks, "Then why are your eyes blue? Also how can you sense negative emotions? And do you mean Shisui Uchiha, as in Shunshin no Shisui?"

Naruto says, "The Kyuubi. Why do you think Kakashi-nii trained me, and Sasuke for seven years. Yes, Shisui adopted me as his Otōto, when I was three. He then trained me for four years till he commited suicide, after getting poisioned by ROOT ANBU. Then the Uchiha Massacre happened, and Sasuke awakened the Sharingan. This is when Kakashi trained us in how to use the Sharingan, and whatever else we wanted to be trained in. I chose Fuinjutsu, and Sasuke chose Kenjutsu after I saved him from dying by Itachi's sword."

Kurenai asks, "So you know about it?"

Naruto says, "Her, not it. The Kyuubi is a female. I've known, and have talked to her since I've been three. Don't worry I can't use much of her power with the seal I have on me by the Yondaime."

They soon reached a Dango Shop, and after ordering, Kurenai says, "Introduce yourselves. I'll go first. I'm Kurenai Yuhi. I like Dango, my friend Anko, and training. I dislike perverts, and rapists. My hobbies are training, and learning Genjutsu. My dream is to learn every Genjutsu, and start a family. You're next Naruto."

Naruto says, "Heyo, I'm Naruto Uzumaki. I like Kura-chan, training, and ramen, especially the ramen from Ichiraku's. I dislike the three minutes you have to wait when one pours water into instant ramen, and the time I have to wait for ramen to cool off. My hobbies include training, and learning/making new Fuinjutsu. My dream is to be the strongest Shinobi, and surpassing the Yondaime as Hokage. Right now I'm perfectly content in protecting Konoha from the shadows, like Shisui-nii."

Kurenai says, "Hinata-chan you're next."

Hinata says, "Hello. I'm Hinata Hyuga. I like sweets, cinnamon buns Kurenai-sensei, and my Imōto Hanabi-chan. I dislike perverts, rapists, and how the Hyuga Main Family treats the Branch Family. My hobbies include training, and flower pressing. My dream is to be a strong Kunoichi, and make the Hyuga Clan into a real family."

Kurenai says, "Sorry Shino but you're last."

Shino says, "My name is Shino Aburame. I like insects. I dislike people who hurt insects for no reason. My hobby is cataloging insects. My dream is cataloging every species of insect."

Kurenai then says, "Tomorrow will be your first mission. I'll explain it then, but if you succeed the mission, you'll officially be Genin, and I'll officially be your Jounin-sensei."

Naruto asks, "You've dropped your anger. I'd like to know if you still don't want to teach me?"

Kurenai answers, "I'd like to teach you. All though, I don't know if I could teach you anything."

Naruto says, "You could probably help me learn normal Genjutsu. As good as my chakra control is, I have a hard time doing any Genjutsu. Well other than the Sharingan based Genjutsu, which I'm amazing at. I also can't do the normal Bunshin no Jutsu, seeing as my chakra is too dense. So you could probably teach me how to do those things."

Kurenai chuckles, as she says, "That's not a very long list of things to be able to teach someone, but if you want to learn normal Genjutsu, I'll teach them to you to the best of my abilities."

As Kurenai leaves the Dango Shop, Naruto places his Hiraishin formula on her shoulder. Shino notices this, and asks, "Why did you do that? Also who is this Shisui person."

Naruto waits until Kurenai is out of earshot, and answers, "It for a Space-time Ninjutsu called the Flying Raijin. It's an S-Rank Jutsu. The Flying Raijin is how the Yondaime got the nickname of Konoha's Yellow Flash. It also made the Yondaime the fastest Shinobi in history. The Jutsu allows one to teleport to the formula marker whether it's on a person, kunai, or sword. You both have my formula marker on your persons. Shisui Uchiha is my adopted Nii-san. He mastered the Shunshin no Jutsu. It's what gained him his nickname Shunshin no Shisui. Shisui was even able to make tangible clones using the Shunshin. I'm also able to make tangible clones using the technique. And in two years Shisui became a Jounin, and later an ANBU Operative. He was strong enough to be the Hokage, said so by the Sandaime Hokage himself."

Hinata asks, "When did you place them? Also who else do you have marked?"
Naruto replies, "When I asked you both to lunch. The Sandaime, Ichiraku's Ramen Stand, and my home."

Shino asks, "Did you just say the Flying Raijin is an S-Rank Jutsu? How does a Genin know an S-Rank Jutsu?"

Naruto answers, "Yes. Plus titles like "Genin", and "Rookie of the Year" don't mean much. Also seven straight years of learning Fuinjutsu, after seeing one of the Yondaime's tri-pronged kunai. So let's go somewhere, and plan for the true Genin Exam."

And that is exactly what they did.
