Chapter 9: Telling the Hokage

All nine Jounin-senseis are standing in front of the Sandaime Hokage. The Sandaime asks, "How did your teams do?"

The first six team failed. Kakashi says, "Team 7 passed."

The Sandaime says, "Tell me about it."

Kakashi says, "Well, Sasuke figured the test out as soon as I brought the bells out. Naruto probably told him about the test. He got Sakura, and even Kiba to work with him. Kiba has good Taijutsu, but needs work with strategizing. Sakura needs work on everything physical, but her book smarts is amazing. Sasuke got the bells. Then he gave them to Sakura, and Kiba. Sasuke even made me use my Sharingan"

The Sandaime asks, "Kurenai, what about your team?"

Kurenai says, "Team 8 passed. Naruto used a S-Rank Space-time Ninjutsu, and showed amazing leadership skills. Hinata showed excellent potential in the Gentle Fist, Shino showed mastery over his insects. They saw through each, and every Genjutsu I used, and even beat Anko Mitarashi."

This shocks the Jounin that were there, with the Sandaime laughing at their faces. Asuma asks, "How does a Genin know such a technique?"

Kakashi answers, "He asked me one day for tri-pronged kunai that Sensei gave me. I let him look at it, and perfectly recreated the sealing formula on it. I guess he must have stumbled into the Namikaze Estate, years back, and learned Fuinjutsu. The Yondaime would have to have the scrolls to learn the Hiraishin no Jutsu. I mean both Naruto, and Sasuke know my Chidori, and have made new variants of it. Naruto knows the Rasengan. In my opinion those two should be Jounin already."

Kurenai says, "I agree with that statement. Naruto was able to beat Anko with one move."

The Sandaime says, "How about this, if they get to the Final match of the Chunin Exams, they'll become Jounin no matter what. But in order for them to be able to be Jounin they'll have to do 20 C-Rank, 10 B-Rank, and 5 A-Rank along with the 20 D-Ranks you have to do in order to qualify for the Chunin Exams. What do you say. Deal?" Kurenai, and Kakashi took the deal so fast.

The Sandaime asks, "Asuma, what about your team?"

Asuma says, "They passed. They were able to capture me with their Clan Jutsu. Shikamaru led them perfectly, but is a stereotypical Nara. Choji is a little passive, and unsure of himself. While Ino is decent, but she is loud, and a fangirl."
