Just giving y'all a heads up that this will be a short chapter

Strikeclaw couldn't believe what he just witnessed. Thunderclan is once more without a deputy. Strikeclaw slowly padded away too his nest. Strikeclaw was done hearing the accusations Lionstripe would make to Jayfeather. Why would Jayfeather do something that could kill cats if they interfered? It didn't make any sense to Strikeclaw. I was friends with a killer! The thought haunted Strikeclaw for a moment before he went off for his nest. He needed to sleep as the three clans in the Thunderclan camp were going to have a long day tomorrow.

Jayfeather slowly made his way to his den. Alderheart and Tornadopaw...dead. I didn't even do anything and Lionstripe already blames me for him being accused. Jayfeather just sighed and laid down and stayed in his nest. Alderheart is dead... The thoughts of Alderheart's throat being slit open by Redstar was too much. Those were the thoughts that would haunt him forever.

Hollyleaf stared out into Starclan. Why Lionstripe of all cats? Why would you choose him to suffer instead of cats that actually caused pain? I was supposed to keep an eye on him... Hollyleaf knew not to keep pondering as she was staring directly at Amberclaw. Hollyleaf got up and walked towards Silentpaw who was mourning the death of his brother and his mentor leaving the clans to die.

Quakepelt was too heartbroken to speak. She now understood the consequences of being a clan cat. Lionstripe couldn't handle anything anymore. He just...left. Something was nagging her about his tone of voice. He sounded like he was going to do something stupid. Like it was all planned out. Except for the deaths. It seemed like he planned something out while he was in his state of fury.

Quakepelt overheard the conversation Lionstripe had with Ravenpaw. He seemed saddened, not at the fact that cats would die, but like he was gonna say a goodbye. Quakepelt started to think of different explanations for Lionstripe's recent strange behaviors as Cloudfoot walked by.
-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-
Cloudfoot could only think about what happened. Lionstripe looked genuinely furious at being accused for the deaths of Tornadopaw and Alderheart despite the fact everyone saw Redstar kill them. Cloudfoot just hoped it wouldn't cause the clans to split and make them easier targets for Riverclan and Shadowclan.

Silentpaw looked up to see Hollyleaf. He knew she was there not to give him pity by the look of her eyes

"I know you're saddened by the recent events, but you can't just stay here and cry the whole time. It's okay to cry, but if that's all you're doing, then what use will you be when we finally wage war with Riverclan and Shadowclan?"

Silentpaw pondered what Hollyleaf said. She's right! I can't just sit around crying! I have to do something to prevent others from dying! "Let's get to preparation. We need to make sure we don't lose too these fox-hearts." Silentpaw announced. Hollyleaf had a look of relief and walked away.

Dawnstar couldn't sleep that night. All she could think about was Lionstripe's fury at being turned on. No one believed Lionstripe when he said he didn't conspire with Shadowclan and Riverclan. Not even her. Now she was regretting not believing Lionstripe. He provided advice to Dawnstar when Ivypool died. Whenever Bumblestripe wasn't available. Whenever she needed his advice. Once he became deputy, she felt closer to him. She wanted to believe in him.

"You okay?" Bumblestripe asked.

Dawnstar turned her head to face the light grey tom.

"I'm fine. Just thinking about what happened..."

Bumblestripe's eyes shined with sympathy, "I don't think he conspired with our enemy. He hates Redstar and Froststar dearly. It's shown very easily when he attacked Redstar without question. He saw his apprentice in trouble and took action."

Dawnstar nodded her head, "I'll think about what you said."

Without another word, Bumblestripe walked away.
-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-
Bumblestripe could only think of how Lionstripe would survive leaving the clans. Shadowclan and Riverclan own Skyclan's, Windclan's, and their own territories. They practically surrounded them. There was no way Lionstripe would be able to leave without a fight.

Let's just hope it doesn't come to that, Bumblestripe thought.
-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-
Lionstripe was furious at being accused of something he didn't do.

It's just like Jayfeather to choose that nice moment to get me out of the picture! Lionstripe thought furiously, I'm getting as far away from this place as I can!

It wasn't even a fox-tail length later that Lionstripe remembered something.

"I can't leave any of them behind. At least not alone. There are those that do believe me." Lionstripe sighed, "I'll need t-"

Before Lionstripe could finish speaking, an all too familiar brown pelt appeared in front of him.

"Missed me MJ."

A ginger and black tom walked along the edge of the town. He sensed that something wasn't right. He had heard the news of Barley's gruesome death and cats that lived there wanted answers. The tom wouldn't be surprised if it were the clan cats.

"You okay Somflow?" A ginger and black she-cat asked.

Somflow looked at the she-cat, "I am Echostorm. No need to worry sister."

Echostorm shook her head, "You're thinking about your friends and if they are in danger after what happened to Barley aren't you?"

Somflow had to admit that his sister was good at knowing what he was thinking about. It also worried him sometimes.

"Yes...I wonder what MJ, Cloud, and Quake are doing right now. I haven't heard from any of them since Barley died. It was hard enough after Zizzeyelon was killed. Barley's death is definitely harder for them no doubt."

Somflow started to think more. Where are they now? Things are getting suspicious. They haven't spoken to me since Barley's murder.

"Where do you think we should go from here Echostorm?", Somflow asked, "Should we go look for them, or should we just stay here?"

Echostorm was clearly thinking about it, "I think we should look for them. They haven't came over to talk in awhile. It would be a good idea if we make sure they didn't die or anything."

Somflow nodded his head, "That makes sense. I know just where to look too."
