Chapter 10:Latsorcs

"I know who it is", I say once I join the others. They all stare at me beady eyes that's when I realise they are all waiting on me to give the answer." It's Scott",I say not believing my own words. They say nothing, maybe because they can hear uncertainty in my voice. "Are you serious? ",Keith asks. "Who is Scott?",Annabelle  asks.

Catalya

"You're finally awake, huh?", a voice sounded from the cellar. My vision was blury so I had to rely on my hearing.

I tried struggling but the more I struggled the deeper the ropes dug into my skin, allowing the vervain to sink into the wound.

I wince at the pain. "Who are you?", I say through gritted teeth. "I'm Scott. You know my brother Joshua."
That name it stings even worse than the vervain.

"What do you want?"
"Simple, your blood", he said with a chuckle that sent shivers down my spine. "What do you plan on doing with it?" I was stalling. I don't know if some has noticed I'm gone or if they even looking for me but I have to believe.

"Isn't it obvious? Power ",he answered. 
"I don't understand you're Joshuas eldest brother. You're next suited to be pack leader", I said. "Do you think a group of whining dogs are going to do it for me ?"

"No,you want more than that. You want the whole world", I figured his true agenda. I figured enough to know that this guy is bonkers. "Very good ,Princess ", he mocks me. "I don't only want to be Alpha of one pack but to control all packs in the whole world. I found a spell that will make me invincible one would say make a whole army invincible",he explained.

"The thing is princess I needed one more ingredient to complete my plan. It was the blood of someone who possesses the Crystal Heart. It took me years but I finally found Melody. I got a time travelling spell from the help of my sister  Rogue and took Melodys blood. It wasn't simple she put up quite a fight but in the end I won",he concluded with a chuckle.

"If you won why do you need me?", as I said that I could feel the tension and the anger boiling in his skin. "She did something to her blood which made the spell backfire and turn me into this. When ever I shapeshift I turn into this hideous monster instead of a wolf",he explained ,a growl in his voice. "Hideous, huh? Good thing I  can't see you then",I said building the tension. U soon regretted it when he through a whole bucket of vervain on me. "Aaaaaaarghhgh!!!!!!!!!", I screamed in agony.

We tracked Scott to this abandoned warehouse,right in the middle of nowhere. "Right,let's go!",Annabelle rushed. "We can't go in without a plan,"I stopped her. "You can't go in without us either",we all turned around facing two boys who appeared behind us." What are you two doing here?",Annabelle  asked.  "We are here to rescue our sister,"the boy who had ash blonde hair and green eyes answered.

I then realised the two boys were Catalyas brothers, Grey and Julian. " Right can we go get my best friend now?" Annabelle asked annoyed. "Not so fast Annabelle. Leon and Nathan have been trying to get this guy for months now", Julian said. Unlike his twin he has honey blonde hair and hazel green eyes. "How do you know that?", Melody asked.  "We have done snooping around ourselves. We found out that Leon and Nathan were allies. They were investigating the disappearance of people in Lynchburg  and the appearance of these monsters. So far we don't know anything about these monsters only that they drink blood",Julian explained.

"Well they sound like vampires to me",Keith said. "Wrong they are not only a threat to humans but to everyone",Grey argued.

"Mason check the place out",I said the we come up with a plan the sooner we can get Catalya out of danger.  "The place is heavily guarded with-with stuff", he stammered.  "What do you mean?"

"I mean I don't know what the he'll those things are,but they are strong",he said. "Then we need to come up with a plan and fast",I said . I'm beginningto get frustrated because I can't think of anything. "That's it!",Annabelle swifted to the gates of the warehouse. "No,stop!",Kristella tried to stop her. She was already inside. We all ran after her. By the time we caught up with her on the inside she had already killed three of the monsters."See we don't need a plan", she said confidently. "Guys",Kristella said as she motioned for us to look. Behind Annabelle was a much bigger monster,he looked like the others only much bigger and way more uglier. My friends and I shapeshift ed while the vampires stood ready in a fighting stance. "Hello,handsome",Annabelle said smirking and then attacked the monster. We all tried to fight it off but it was just so strong. The monster then went after Kristella who froze in fear. Luckily Grey protected her.

"Go and find Catalya while we fight him off",I heard him tell her. She ran off to find Catalya. I saw a shadow follow her then ran after it . I followed it to a dark cellar. It was ready to attack Kristella,she didn't sense it, she was too busy trying to loosen the ropes around Catalyas hands. That's when I a tacked the creature and bit it's head off. Kristella gasped in fear but then she realised it was me.

"The roped are soaked in vervain. I can't untie her", she said. I used my claws to cut the ropes. Kristella helped her up. I motioned for them to come along. We arrived at the battle when Catalya let go of Kristella,the colour of her eyes change to pink. Pink lightening bolts surrounded her body. She flicked her hand as she said infrebrua the monster roared in agony. "I'm sorry Tobi",I think I hear her say. In less than two seconds the monster is destroyed. "Did you just say Tobi?",as I questioned she fainted but before she hit the ground I caught her.

Kristella layed Catalya on my back. The others were all worn out and surrounded Bianca who was now dead. "We better get going", Grey said." We can't leave her like this, Melody sobbed.
