Do it For the Candy

       "No freaking way, Solace. I would rather stab myself in the face than wear that."

      "Well, then what do you suggest we dress up as?" Will said,still trying to shove the costume into his boyfriend's hands.

        "You can go as whatever the Hades you want to. I'm NOT going trick-or-treating" Nico replied, dumping the costume Will was attempting to give him on the floor.

       It was the night before Halloween, and Will Solace was trying his hardest to get his boyfriend, Nico di Angelo, to go trick-or-treating with him. There was some cabin to cabin trick-or-treating at camp, but Will wanted to go out in the real world. And Nico saw that as absolute torture.

       Actually, Nico might've agreed to go, but then Will had to bring up the idea of a couple's costume. Nico had nearly fainted from shock, but Will could not get the idea out of his head. So he'd gone and bought 2 costumes for them.

        The idea was simple. Will would represent light and Nico would be darkness. Will 's was an angel, complete with a glowing halo. But Nico vehemently refused to wear his. Because of the pink.

        According to Will, it was the only non-smutty black devil costume he could find, but Nico was pretty sure he'd gotten it to humiliate Nico. It was mainly black, but there were little lines of pink. And Nico didn't do pink.

    

      "Why can't we agree on something for once?" Will asked, practically throwing the costume onto Nico

      "Because all of your ideas are ducking stupid" Nico snarled

       "Hey Nico. If you go with me, I'll give you all my candy corn" Will knew his boyfriend loved candy corn. It was the best bargaining chip he had right now.

        Nico's eyes all but glazed over. "Candy... Corn"

       Will smiled. He had won.

       "Please tell me why I agreed to this" Nico muttered sulkily, crossing his arms over his chest.

      "Because of the candy corn." Will said with a slight smirk. He grabbed Nico's arm. "Now come on"

       Will pulled Nico up the front stoop of a house, mixing in with a group of younger kids. Adults tend to give fifteen year olds trick-or-treating weird looks.

       "What adorable costumes" said the old lady at the door, putting candy into everyone's bags "Oh, what a pretty young lady. I love your outfit" The woman said to Nico. Will could barely contain his laughter, and had to pull his boyfriend away before he went on a murderous rampage.

        "This is why I didn't want to wear this costume. I don't need blind old ladies calling me a girl" Nico glared at Will like it was all his fault. Oh wait. It kinda was.

        "Well look. That lady gave us full size candy bars. Are you still going to mope with all that chocolate?" Will asked, opening his candy.

         "Yeth" Nico murmured through a mouthful of chocolate, glaring at Will. He really wished he didn't like candy corn so much.

         "I can't stand taffy" Will said, pushing a pile of it away from him

        "I love taffy. I'll take it!"

        They had come back from their trick-or-treating. If you asked Nico, he would say it was a nightmare, but Will knew he kinda enjoyed it.

       "Oh, I almost forgot. Your reward for going with me" Will said, starting to get off the floor of the Hades cabin, but than he stopped. "Hey Nico, are you sure you want candy corn. I could give you something so much better." Will whispered huskily, sitting down next to Nico and putting his arm on his boyfriend's back.

        "Nope. I just want the candy corn." Nico replied obliviously.

        "Are you sure? Because I've got to walk to get the candy. I'm right here." Will tried to roll Nico onto his back, but he was still trying to count his candy.

        "Will, I want candy corn. I have no idea what you- Oh" Nico got it.

       "So do you still want the candy corn?" Will whispered into Nico's ear.

        "Yes, Solace, I do want the candy. We can do it any freaking time we want. But if you don't give me the candy, you and your siblings will eat it all. So go"

       "Okay, Nico. But don't think I didn't hear the We can do it anytime we want. Next time there won't be any candy corn" Will said without looking back.
