Its the first day of high school, the team going into their junior years.
Kelley per usual misses her alarm
Tobin calls Kelley to make sure she knows Christen, Moe, and herself would be picking her up.
As Tobin pulls up Moe yells out the window "Pick up the pace Miss Kelley"
"Alright alright" Kelley groaned.
As they pull up to the school they hop out and meet up with the team. Everyone is there, Moe finds her boyfriend Fabrice, and Alex and Serva are already together. They all depart and see if they got any classes.
Alex and Kelley walk to their first class, science.
"We have science together Al!" Kelley squeals.
Alex jumps up and down knowing it is gonna be a fun year.
As Lindsey and Emily walk to their first classes, they realize they have all the same classes together before lunch and they also have lunch too.
"Look Sonny we have all these classes together before lunch! And we have lunch too!!!" Lindsey yells
"Linds, the whole team has lunch together" Emily laughs
"Oh right" Lindsey breathes
So the whole team met up at lunch and they saw a girl sitting alone at another table. They all sat down and Christen poked Tobin, "Hey Tobs, that girl over there she looks really young, I feel bad that she is all alone. Wait is that a soccer shirt for our school?' Christen asks.
"It looks like shes on the team, and I cant remember ever seeing her last year so I'm assuming she's new..." Tobin trailed off thinking.
"Well maybe we should introduce ourselves" Christen says
"Maybe it would be best if WE just went over there, she could be shy Chris"
"Oh ok gotcha Tobs"
Lindsey and Emily see Tobin and Christen whispering to each other across the table. Probably some weird lovey stuff. They both
looked at each other, they cringed then laughed.
Soon Tobin and Christen get up without saying a word so everyone gets confused but they all go back to eating.
"What should we say?" Christen whispers walking over there
"Just lets not sound stupid" Tobin laughs
"Hi" Christen says quietly as they sit down across from the girl
The girl looked up from her sandwich really confused looking like she was about to run away
"I'm Tobin" Tobin says holding out her hand for the girl to shake
She takes a second then shakes Tobin's hand
Lindsey poked Emily in the neck
"Linds that hurtttttttt" Emily said dramatically
"Oh please, but why is Tobin SHAKING hands with that girl"
"It's just a friendly gesture"
"She looks scared of them" Lindsey laughs
After letting go of Tobin's hand the girl looked at Christen
The team looks over and Tobin and Christen wondering what in the world they are up to now.
After ten minutes and tobin sliding the girl her phone, they walk back to the table to continue eating getting flooded by questions.
"Whats her name" Kelley asks
"Does she play soccer" Alex yells
"Name??" Becky says
"Who is she?" Emily laughed
"Why did you shake hands with her Tobin" Lindsey said with a smile
"Can i meet her?" Rose asks
"How old?" Moe yells from the other end
"Guys just calm down" Christen yells
Everyone went silent awaiting the information
Tobin started to talk
"Her name is Mallory, but she prefers to be called Mal, she made the team, and shes the youngest one. She's really shy but wants to meet all of you. So team meeting in the locker room after school, be there please"
Everyone said "Ok" and continued to eat
Rose gets up from the table and brings her food with her
Everyone asks where she was going but soon realized she was going to Mal and they all knew not to follow her.
She sits down and says "Hi Mal, I'm Rose"
She looks up and smiles "Hi Rose"
"You looked a little lonely by yourself so i wanted to come sit with you, is that ok?"
"Sure thats fine" Mal says
"Ok well lets see, i love dogs, and soccer. How about you?"
"Soccer is definitely my main priority" Mal laughs "oh and dogs are awesome too"
"Well good then we are going to get along very well" Rose smiles
"Well hows is your first day? I know your new and all but I wanna make sure no one is giving you a hard time" Rose says quietly
"I mean, its only the first day"
