It was Saturday morning now, around 9 am
The team was just waking up. They were informed lindsey was almost done with her 1st surgery and all was going exceptionally well.
The team grabbed breakfast and all sat down at tables
Weirdly Emily took it outside and went around the building
The team exchanged looks but nobody questioned
Except Rose and Mal
Becky had ordered them both and Sam to go check on her
She was siting against a tree her back to the three, sobbing.
They quickly walked back inside. they all knew.
It was getting closer and closer to Tuesday and Emily couldn't handle it.

Lindsey had finally gone through all her surgeries. She was back and on the road to recovery.
Everyone was cheering while Emily just sat there with tear stained cheeks looking at the ground
Believe me nobody expected her to go insane on the cheering

It was now that same saturday night when Mal had gotten a call from Dansby.
"Hello?" Mal said quietly
Arrays of shouts came from the phone
The team looked up and gave Mal a puzzled look
"Where have you been?!?" He shouted
She turned down her volume but everyone still listened
"Dans...I said im still at the hospital with my team..." she whispered
"WHY ARE YOU WHISPERING?! AND WHY HAVE YOU BEEN THERE FOR SO LONG!?!?!" he screams into the phone
"babe, im here to make sure lindsey is ok, its the right thing to do"
"well i dont care, BABE." he said sarcastically
He was clearly intoxicated so Mal tried not to let it get to her
"You know what, dont text me or call me until i see you in person. im done with your petty ways." he yelled and hung up.
The team didnt know Mal had a boyfriend.
Mal started to tear up, and Rose was siting next to her wide eyed about to cry.
Mal silently stood up and walked up to the door tears flooding her face
Rose stood up go follow but Becky grabbed her
"Let me take care of this." Becky said
"But-"
"i got this rose"
"whatever you say" she said sitting down
Becky went out the door followed by Moe
They found Mal on the bench sobbing, bawling her eyes out
They sit next to her and comfort her, not saying anything for ten minutes
Becky starts, "You know, your a young, amazing, powerful girl. and him saying that to you, was totally wrong of him and not fair to you at all. but thats the thing in life, boys are so dumb. he sounded clearly drunk. "
"I agree with what becky said. And Mal, you are not petty. you have stayed every day and hour since we have got here and thats so generous of you. and like becky said, that was COMPLETELY wrong of him. you don't deserve any boy who treats you like this. It's just a bump in the road you guys will hopefully get over. But make sure you talk to him about this and let him know how this hurt you. Becky and i are always here to talk."
"promise" said becky quietly
"thank you guys so much. you guys are the best teammates ever." mal said crying
they pulled her in for a hug and texted rose to come out and sit with her
it was gonna be a long night.
Shorter than usual but a lot happening in this. i do not condone any type of underage drinking at all. just showing the dangers in high school. probably gonna start writing another chapter tonight thank u all for reading
