Back at Tobin's house they set Lindsey up in the guest room
Mal made a bed next to Lindseys on the floor
Lindsey looked down
"Oh Mal you dont have to sleep on the floor its ok"
"No Lindsey I'm fine i swear"
"Whatever you say Youngin"
Mal texted Tobin
Mal: Tobin weird question.
Tobin: Sup, I'm all ears.
Tobin: You know you could have just gotten up Christen and I are just on my couch
Mal: Ik but i want to stay with Lindsey
Tobin: I understand but whats up
Mal: Ok so do you by ANY chance have crayons and paper
Tobin: Project time?!
Mal: If you wanna help
Tobin: I'm all in and Christen is getting the crayons
Mal set her phone on the charger. She slowly sat up and looked at Lindsey
She was asleep. Mal got up tip-toed out the door and silently shut it.
"I figured Lindsey could use some calming pictures when she wakes up" Mal said approaching the couch
"Of course! The crayons are on the table. Lets get started! Plus its a bit late but we will do it" Christen said smiling
Tobin got up laughing "You still have the little kid in you, you two"
"I know" Christen and Mal said at the same time.

After an hour of coloring they all finished and they were all very surprised on how they came out.
They figured they would tape it to lindseys door so when she wakes up she will see them
Mal silently slips under her blankets
"Mal?" Lindsey said groggily
"Linds?!" She said sitting up
"My head hurts"
"Ok i will go get Tobin and Medicine
Mal hurries up and runs out the door into the family room
Tobin and Christen look so confused
"Whats going on?!" Tobin said
"Lindsey's head hurts"
"I'll get water for her" Said Christen
"I'll get medicine" Tobin says
Christen stops in her tracks
"Mal, do you mind getting an icepack for her? But wrap it in a towel please"
"Sure!" said Mal cheerfully
She precisely wrapped the ice pack
They all brought Lindsey her "Care Package" as Mal called it
Lindsey took the medicine and Mal handed her the ice pack
"Im tired" said Christen yawning
"i'll take the couch tonight" Tobin said
Christen looked sad but she didn't argue she was too tired to do that
Mal plopped down on her blankets
They all said goodnight and they shut the door
It was just Mal and Lindsey
"Hey Lindsey i have a question, just tell me if i make your head hurt"
"No you wont. Go ahead"
"Ok well so I'm pretty sure but are they together or...because like it seems like it but i dont wanna assume they are but i just need to hear it from someone else and-"
"Ok Mal calm down" Lindsey said laughing
"Yes they are"
"Woahhhhh. Well they are like goals. And they act like parents with me. Which is nice. And they are very nice." Mal breathed
"Yes i know both amazing humans."
"Any more questions?" Lindsey said
"Well actually..." Mal said tapping her finger
"Actually never mind i don't wanna invade your privacy" She said drawing circles on her leg
"No Mal you can ask i wont be offended"
"Well i was thinking...Is there something between you and Emily?"
Lindsey chuckled
"Well sometimes i do believe there is. But dont tell anyone"
"I WONT" said Mal quickly
Lindsey laughs once more
"You know, shes like MY person. Everyones gotta have THEIR person. Ya know? And i miss her like crazy. But i dont know how to tell her."
"You know Lindsey Emily misses you too. At the hospital she was having breakdowns and they were just because she missed HER person. I vote once you are all better and once she is all better, you guys talk it out. It will help, believe me" Mal said smiling
"Aww thanks girly, i knew i could count on you. And yes Son, she need extra eyes in the next couple days coming up. So i will count on you for that too."
"I will be of service" Mal said saluting
That made Lindsey laugh out loud
"Get sleep Lindsey" Mal whispers laying down
"Of course Meow Pugh, you too" Lindsey chuckled at that nickname
Mal laughed "Goodnight Lindsey"
"Night night mal" she trailed off
Mal was beginning to like this friendship
