else but you know he's secretly a huge nerd
who loves comic books and cuddling

-You and Xavier were acquaintances in high school but you didn't start dating until you met him again in his aerobics class a few years later

- He used to always wear those huge square glasses and read comic books in the corner of the class (you always thought he was kind of cute but was too shy to say anything)

- Now though, he was completely transformed, no trace of that little nerd anywhere in his appearance or attitude for that matter

- Jesus, when did he become so cocky?

- Regardless, you two still ended up together and everything was smooth sailing

- One day when you two were on a road trip together you had to stop at a gas station to fill up his famous "vanta-c" van

- Once at the pump you had to reach in the back for your bag because "Babe this road trip was your idea so you're paying for the gas" (which of course was followed by a massive eye roll in retaliation)

- Xavier had already stepped out of the van when your fingers brushed against a loose piece of carpet under the seat

- You, being the most curious person in the world, lifted it up in a heartbeat and was shocked to find a small collection of comic books ranging from Ninja Turtles to Superman sitting in a thin film of plastic on the floor

- Xavier was secretly a clean freak and hated when things got even slightly dirty (one of the reasons his van is always in the greatest condition)

- You heard a knock on the window and jumped a little, but it was just your favorite mr. cool guy looking at you impatiently waiting for your money to fill up the van

- "Baby I love you, but we're not gonna get anywhere if you keep taking forever."

- He was an asshole, but somehow it was endearing (most of the time)

- When you two were back on the road you waited for about another hour before exposing him

- "Xavierrrr I'm so bored do you have anything to read in here I'm dyinggggg"

- "Babe, the only thing I read is Chet's Playboy mags and I can assure you, you won't find those entertaining"

- "I was thinking something more ...animated. Maybe something with a little Batman and Robin 👀"

- The breaks slam immediately

-!"Babe... what are you implying.... haha" you could hear his voice getting more nervous

- "You know what I'm talking about you.... sexy little ninja turtle nerd"

- Xavier leaned over and looked at you, "I have no idea what you're talking about babe, are you feeling sick or something? What are you on about?" He tried to be nonchalant but you could see his facade breaking with each passing second

- You just sat there and looked at him, switching back and forth between the broken carpet and his blue eyes with a knowing look plastered on your face until he broke... which you knew he would

- "Okay sure, I like to read comics sometimes but that doesn't make me a loser or a geek okay I'm still cool as ever don't forget that but also promise me you won't tell anyone babe it'll ruin my rep and Montana will never let me hear the end of it and oh my god Ray's gonna-"

- You cut him off with short little kiss to stop his rambling
It's funny, you've never heard him be this nervous and babbly before. His facade being completely dropped.... But you knew you loved it more and more

- "I promise I won't tell anyone. Jeez Xavi it's no big deal I swear! In fact, I think it makes you even... sexier ;)"

- From then on Xavier was much softer with you behind closed doors

- On his birthday you'd surprise him with the newest comic book that came out from his favorite series

- "OH MY GOD Y/N YOU DIDN'T-   BABE THIS ONE HASN'T EVEN BEEN RELEASED YET I LOVE YOU SO MUCH WHERE DID U EVEN FIND IT-"

- One night in the middle of sex he pulls a new move on you and when u asked where he learned it from he admits that he gets most of his sexual prowess from renting sex guide books from the library

- It made you chuckle but then he surprisingly got shy about it so you had to reassure him that it was cute of him to do

- Whenever you both were around friends you always found ways to sneak in mentions of his favorite comic book characters and book titles to make him pause and blush a little knowing that no one else would get it like he would

- "Oh yeah Xavi did you hear they're making a new batman movie in a few years. I heard Michael Keaton was gonna be in it too.... Thoughts?"

- *clears throat* "What's batman"

- You even found out one day when you were doing laundry that he keeps an inhaler in his bag for the end of his aerobics sessions

- You never mentioned it to him but one night you two were a little extra rough and he had to whip it out
"Ahh Xavier just like that.. Keep going- *Puff*.... What was that-"

- "nOTHing babe don't worry about it-"

- He was still a cocky bastard on the daily but knowing he was still that little geek from high school on the inside in so many little ways made you love him that much more, although it honestly made you wonder what else he was hiding......
