Morning sunshine awoken me and the sound of birds chirping near the window calmed me down. I had forgotten for a second, of where I was. I looked around for Cyan and he was nowhere to be found. I got up and stretched while I yawned.

I walked towards the door. I wanted to look for him outside, but then I remember when he told me it was best to stay inside. I shrugged my shoulders slightly as I slowly walked out and closed the doors behind me. I looked around the house and I spotted guards in their green uniforms down the path of gravel. I gasped and I rushed back inside.

I hope they didn't spot me. I sat on the mat, waiting for Cyan to arrive soon. "Cyan!" I heard a woman's voice call out. Someone opened the door and she spotted me. "Oh!" She looked at me in confusion. She was very pretty. Her brown hair put up in a bun and her bangs braided into the bun. She had a purple flower clip in her bun.

"You must be?" She asked me. "Uh, I'm Nissa." I answered. She had a beautiful, red, silk kimono on. "W-where's Cyan?" She asked and I shrugged my shoulders. "Don't know. I'm sure he'll be here soon." I told her and she nodded.

"What's your relation to him?" She asked me and I panicked inside my head. I can't tell her the truth, I barely met her, but I don't even know her. For all I know, she could go blabbing to everyone. I don't even know if she knows Cyan is a ninja.

"I'm a cousin of his." I lied and I smiled, trying to keep it cool. "Really? How awesome!" She exclaimed and I chuckled.

Cyan finally arrived, when he walked in, his eyes widened in surprise to see me awake and the woman was here. "Leena." He said and she got up and hugged him. "Great news. Mother still wants to do the picnic." She turned to me. "You'll come too right? Since you're his cousin." She said and I shrugged my shoulders. "I... I only came to visit," think of another lie, think of another one and play it cool, "I needed to discuss with him about... Um... My father that... Has fallen ill." I said as I looked up at her to see if she is convinced.

She nodded, "Well, I'll see you later, Cyan." She said and exited the house. Cyan sat down on a cushion at the table. "Where were you?" I asked him. "I went to see Yane for a bit." He answered. "You worried me!" I said. "Sorry, but um, it was business that doesn't involve you. Don't worry, I got a scold from Yane for leaving you here alone, but at least you were accompanied by Leena." He said back as he pulled out a scroll.

"What's that?" I asked him.

"News. Word has gotten around that the chairman of the Yellow Dragon district wants to declare war on the Sun district."

"Yane's the chairman of the Sun district, isn't he?! Oh no..." I said as I looked down. "Don't worry. Yane has it all under control, he's a very smart and smooth man and can be very relaxed in situations like these." Cyan said and I nodded as I sighed in relief.

"We have to be careful though, it could affect the Moon district too. It can cut off any cargo that's being imported or exported here." Cyan added. "True." I said, agreeing with him. "It'd be best that we stay away from N.P.S for a while, we could get caught." He explained and I nodded, listening to him.
