A/N: So out of curiosity, which origin of Freddy would you consider the more better version of the two. (Not counting the Remake).
Freddy's Nightmares' Version in which Freddy is burned alive in front of them after tossing some sadistic remarks at the parents and shouting "I'm Free!" as he burned.

Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare's Version where during the moment he was about to burn, he makes a deal with the dream demons.
Austin: I prefer the Freddy's Nightmare version more. However, I do think the Freddy's Dead version does at least give a reason to how Freddy became a Dream Demon.
