Eren honestly didn't think that his stress relieving night would end up like this.
He was dressed by a small woman who couldn't stop blabbing in a language he didn't understand. But she was kind so he let her hug him goodbye. The men who he woke up too had him dressed and "prepared" in a light grey suit, no masks were allowed where he was going.
Eren could see how the two bloke alphas kept sneaking glances at him, but he ignored that and favored looking around for weapons and possible exits.
The same group of four finally stopped in front of immaculately cleaned glass doors that displayed the large amount of people who were dining inside.
The largest of the group opened the door by it's polished gold handle and ushered Eren inside. The other two people traveling with him led him to the biggest table that was right under and ruby chandler.
"Boss" the man voiced, calling the man's attention.
"Ah, Rusoy, I see you brought dear Death. Thank you."
Both guards left, but Eren's feet stayed planted where they were.
The man noticed this, "Sit my boy, were not going to do any bad things to you." Eren sat down hesitantly when the chair was pulled back for him.
"Eat! You are much too thin for a growing boy your age. Try the duck, it is to die for."
The man said cheerfully.
Eren had never had anything above a chicken that he snatched form the back of a deli section one time.
He picked up one of the silver forks that were placed on his right, he really didn't know which one he was supposed to use out of the two, but whatever.
He stared down at his plate, the nearest serving is what he was guessing the duck is, it was an almost unhealthy shade of red on it- making him almost think it was raw.
To the right if that was cooked pineapple and a biscuit.
He was shaked out of his thoughts, "Gravy?" The man asked.
Eren hesitantly grabbed the silver holder and poured some on his meat. The man smiled.
Most of the meal was silent, and Eren spent his time eating and observing his surroundings while chewing.
Once his plate was cleared, he wiped his mouth off properly, the way Levi showed him. And cleared his throat.
"Hey, Mr.- " he paused, now realizing he didn't know the gentleman's name.
"Ivanov." He provided between sips of wine.
"Right," he cleared his throat, "Mr. Ivanov, the hospitality has been great, and your people have been kind, bit I have to ask, what do you want with me?"
The older alpha studied him with hardened brick brown eyes, swirling his crystal wine glass before setting it down.
"You have a reputation, Mr. Death, you could say that I was just curious if you measure up to all the story's and rumors about you that float around on the streets. And before I knew that, you saved my life, and killed a very powerful man, so that enough made me interested in you."
Eren didn't know what to say, so he just stared at the man sitting across from him with his ocean green eyes.
The man stood up, his chair legs screeching as the were pushed forcefully across the hardwood floor. He leaned on the table, almost stretching his body across from it, "Some people think that you aren't entirely human Mr. Death. And I like to think I'm a sensible man, that I wouldn't buy in to petty rumors that were started by children, but meeting and seeing you in action may push that to the side."
They were both silent, staring into each other's eyes. Finally Ivanov stood up and adjusted his tie, staring down at the omega.
"I do hope we can have a more... in-depth conversation soon. But I must leave you for now, you know, businesses must go on.
Edgor here," he gestured leisurely to his left, "Is going to give you the grand tour and get you familiar with the grounds." He smiled, Proshchay! (Goodbye)" He said cheerfully, leaving with a hand full of men following behind him.
Eren stood up and pushed in his chair, staring expectedly at Edgor.
"Follow me, we will start in the west wing and finish at the south one." He started walking and Eren followed.Levi pov.
Dinner with Isabel and Farlan usually only consisted of Isabel's mindless chatter, and occasional questions for Eren. But he wasn't here, so now it was just Isabel talking about that one time she dared him to lick gum off the bottom of her shoe.
"You were so angry and grossed out by even thinking about doing it, you went out and bought a whole bottle of mouthwash and used it like three times a day-"
Farlen butted in, "I was convinced you just drank it like it was some sort of juice."
They both dissolved into laughter, and Levi allowed himself to let a small some slip.
"Sir-" Levi snapped his attention to his guard, looking up he saw Erwin pushing past them.
"Levi, I have some news, we need to talk."
The table fell silent, Levi stood up, "Let's go to my study, we can speak privately there."
Once the sorry closed and Levi was seated behind his desk, Erwin spoke.
"When was the last time you talked to Eren?"
Levi felt worry start to grow in the pit of his stomach.
"Not for a few days, why?"
Erwin looked down, and then back up, the two alphas eyes locking. After a few moments of silence Levi felt his heart starting to pound, the beats echoing in his ears.
"Why?" He repeated.
"Word around the block is that he killed Eric, and that he is in the care of the Russian Mob now."
Levi grabbed the paper weight off his desk and contemplated throwing it at the wall next to him.
"Levi-"
"Get Hanji down here, we will discuss this more in a proper meeting.
Erwin stood up, "Yes sir." and left.
After 5 minutes Levi stood up and walked back into the dining room.
"You guys will have to continue without me, businesses has come up."
Blocking out Isabel's words of protests he wondered down the halls and sliped into the meeting room. He was going to dink a lot of tea tonight.
